received call around dinner time - did not pick up - never pick up long distance calls I don't know. interesting link to the OPC - mr. tyo sounds like a real winner - hope they throw the book at him.

I've also received a call from 866 955 5838. No one speaks for several seconds then **** up. I called the number back but got a busy signal.

I just received this call as well,looking for someone that has had my number.Asked where they are calling from and they said Ottawa.Funny,shows toll free number but says long distance. I found this site,called that number back and mentioned the names Mr Tyo and Margo and said if you call this number a***n,I will sue,lets see what happens now.We all need to take action from this **** and end it all now. The company that is mentioned when I call back is Global Security

Mr. Tyo is now running another business, this time in Ottawa where he sells first aid and CPR courses.  For $140 you can sign up and you have three years take courses.  I haven't been able to sign up for the course, because when I call the number to sign up, no one answers the phone.  I requested a refund in writing, through the address provided and haven't had any response.   He has a woman working for him who says her name is Margo Eitel when she comes to your door she tells you that they called you some time ago to ask you if you'd be interested in signing up for the courses.  Of course you can't remember, but she****ures you that you did, she is very persuasive and persistant.

I get calls from this number too, so I called it today.  It answered in French and said that all of their agents were busy but to hold and I would get the next available one.  Call is apparently from ADT Security Systems, if I can believe the message it says in French.  I left a message to ask them to take me off their mailing list.  Hope it works.... I have my doubts.

I received 3 calls from this number today one right after another. 1st at1103 2nd at 1229 and the 3rd at 1253. Idon't pick up any calls that come in as unknown caller.3 calls in less than an hour is very su****ious to me. Personally I would definatley stay away from them and definitly not give them any info

To have your phone number removed from the call list of Global Securite, send an mail with your name and phone number to [email protected] takes 2 to 3 weeks to have the number added to their (must be very long!) list of Do No Calls. Failing that, call their Montreal office at 514-788-5505 and ask to speak to their Telemartketing Manager. He will personally put your name and number on the Do Not Call list, with no delay, at least that was shat he****ured me today. Time will tell!

They called me many times and never left any messages. Today They call and Ask me directly Are you mrs D...? I just said Yes*****o and they **** up on me. I called them back and the answering ma****e was saying in french that their mail box is full. Who are they? What do they want?

got a call at 10:20 from this number didnt leave message. but called it back 3 times got same fogeign recording. didnt understand it. i to hope i dont get and outragious bill.

This number has called my home twice claiming to be my local bank and saying my debit card was cancelled.  I had a feeling it was a fraud, so I never pushed 1 like the recording asked.I ***g up and called the number back, but the recording is in French, and I don't speak the language, so I don't know what was being said.Since they claimed to be my local bank, they obviously have access to who you bank with, but not enough information to access your card.I will contact the Federal Communications Commission, but since the company appears to be in France, it's doubtful they will be able to do anything.

I live in Indiana and got a call at 8:00 p.m.  saying my checking account had been compromised. I know this is a scam and tried to call this number back just to see who would answer. It was a recorded message in another language. I hope I haven’t  make a mistake and now get charged a terrible phone bill for placing a foreign call.

i live in indiana and at 8:08 pm got a call from that number, it was automated and it said they from harrison bank and belived my acct was compromised. i busted out laughing so hard fell off chair!! i dont bank with them!

This #866-955-5838 has called our business about 20 times and continues to call and states that it is a local bank, North West Ga credit union, and that my card has been cancelled. It ask for you to press 1 for the Security Center (all of it is automated) and then ask for your card # and 3 other sources of personal information. When calling this # back, it is in French. THIS IS FRAUD!!!!!!

I received a call from some one who identified the company he represents as: Global Security, it sounds su****ious to me. The caller said: Thank you for taking the call, you will be contacted later, and it ****ed up.

This is Global Security we've reach you, we will call you back later

Left no messages. Su****ious.

The number called twice and no message was left.
