Leave a CommentI wrote above a couple post. I can tell you for sure these people aren't Yellow Pages. I advertise with the real Yellow Pages. Don't give them the time of day. They are still calling me 4 or 5 times a day, I have no idea how to stop them.
My business # is forward to my cell I store # as ffck when they call I just press no to answer. They call about 4 times daily even weekend.
Calls and ****s up. I call back and the line is busy. It has happened several times over the last week
They sometimes call my business two and three times a day. There is no answer. From now on, I am going to quickly answer and then **** up as I have caller I.D. and the call goes to my cell phone. However, they use up a lot of my monthly minutes and that is annoying. Definitely a scam.
Don't give out your information. This number calls once in awhile, claiming that the loan that I had taken out for school transfer to their office. I never received any letter in the mail. The person is asking for payment of $400 a month and they can s**** an automatic withdrawel. I told the person, I'll be contacting the place I have taken a loan and see if it's true. I think this is scam, trying to rip people off.
We receive calls from this number daily. We politely decline their "free listing" and **** up. Today they called a***n to say they wanted to confirm our "free listing" for the online yellow pages but had to record our converstion for verification. That they are a verification company for the yellow pages. I explained I preferred not to do that as we had been scammed with a similar situation in the past. The caller proceeded to tell me how offended he was I was calling him a scammer and our company must be a scam if I didn't want to be recorded. I told him that was not a very professional thing to say and he ***g up.
I get calls from this company/scammer constantly. They claim to be "free yellow pages" and wants me to accept to continue the "free" listing. I tried to tell her that I didn't have the authority to accept anything and she stated "it's free, there's no authority needed". I a***n stated I wouldn't and thought I'd try a different avenue. I told her I was the answering service and she stated "answering service? well then stop answering the phone"!!! It's amazing the harrassing calls that come from these rude companies. What I want to know is what do they get out of it? They actually pay people to be nasty to those of us who answer phones across America? I say get a life.
sorry meant to say that they stay through on the line and wait for my voicemail to pick up, then they just sit there breathing or whatever and you can hear noise on the voicemail like it's a busy call room somewhere, but noone ever leaves any message.
Calls 4 or 5 times a day. I never answer. They never leave a message but I can hear noise in the background. Is there any way to stop these guys? It's annoying to have my phone ringing all the time. I'm never going to answer and yes my number is on the DO NOT Call REGISTRY ALSO.
Got a call from "Michelle". She claimed to be calling from the "real yellow pages". These guys are actually an outfit called ESBI. (Do a Google search and see all the complaints) ESBI are a bunch of real crooks. They have been in hot water with the Federal Trade Commission for years. They run a cramming scam tacking unauthorized or mysterious charges onto your phone bill. If they call you, **** up.
go to www.donotcall.gov to stop this calls
On march 12,2009 I received a call from 866-961-3530 . the male operator said in broken English that he was calling from online yellow pages and wanted me to confirm a free listing. i told him that the phone number he inquired about was correct. he then proceeded asking about my name. i gave him only first name. he insisted that i give him my full name. i then told him that i was not interested in any listing. At that time, a female who apparently listening in, cut into conversation saying "what is your problem'?she s****ed to insult me. i called them a bunch of ****** bags and ***g up. i then tried calling same number and it was busy then kept ringing with no answer.
Male called on 3/11 saying it was on behalf of Discover merchant services, did have a business name and wanted to verify address info, but also wanted personal info - seems like a scam
This **** has called me every day for the last couple of months. I asked his name and he said "Richard". I asked who he works for and he said "people". I asked where he is located and he said "planet earth"! When I **** up, he calls back many times. He just won't give up. I've reported him to the phone company, and they weren't very helpful.
I've received several calls the last few days. I'm a business and once I answer they **** up.
The woman calling from this number said she worked on behalf of Discover Card and wanted to verify address information relating to the organization I represent. She ***g up on me when I made it clear I would not be providing any such information and that no one else in the organization would be able to help her.
Caller claimed to be calling from "National Register". The first time I ***g up. He had the guts to call back. I told him that I was on the DO NOT CALL list and ***g up a***n. He called back a third time and threatened to tack charges on my phone bill because I refused to answer his questions.
"Online Yellow Pages" scam. They played an automatic recording and talked over it, then tried to get me to say yes to confirm a "free listing". Said they were just walking me through the recording, but when I asked them to play back the message, they ***g up.
The caller ***g up when I answered. Anyone else getting calls from this number?
They called here Sa****ay morning, 3/7/09, identified as "from the Yellow Pages." I asked the name of the caller; he gave his first name. Then I asked for the caller's phone number, and he ***g up. Seems like a scam operation.
