They asked for someone I’ve never heard of and they are calling me on my corporate cell phone which Ive had for years and claiming I know who they are. They are insane.

they don't give any info and are harrasasing the person answering phone, I have no idea who they are.

it's very funny to read these comments. pay what you owe.  stop living outside your means.stop hiding and having people cover for you.stop being rude on the phone.just answer, be real, and dont sound sketchy.also, know your rights and the laws before you s**** misquoting them.empty your voicemail so there's room to leave a message.stop running and avoiding the situation because that's obviously not making it any better.

I am getting calls from friends and family members whom have nothing to do with these people calling and threatening them.

I'm a lawyer.  They're apparently calling me because I represent someone they're after.  They never leave a message, and I never pick up.  Today was funny -- I just heard a sigh on the other end of the message and someone saying "I'm so tired."  Click.

This # has called me 4 times in the past week. I own a business. They keep asking for one of my employees. They pretend to be a family member and say "I need to speak with him very important". They only give a first name of "Sarah". When I s**** asking questions they **** up. Federal law prohibits 3rd party collection agencies from calling employers. I talked to the employee and he said he has no judgments a***nst him or collection accounts. I told them to stop calling and they refused.

Ms Johns uses a lot of lawyer speak.  She is NOT a lawyer.She has been retained by...blah blah blah.She represents the claimant... blah blah blah.She gets paid by the word.  I could not get a word in edge wise.  She is ridiculous.

called twice within 30 minutes and did not leave a message either time

if you see a toll-free number pop up on caller ID with no mat****g name, just do not answer the call.  It is probably someone you do not want to talk to.  either they have the wrong number or its a bill collector.  regular calls do NOT originate fromn toll free numbers.watch these people if you answer the phone and it is a legitimate bill collector looking for you.  They play games with the calls.

They called me a few times!

Called my office multiple times and had the receptionist connect the call, have never called my home number.  Assuming it's a bill collector, I don't take calls from the receptionist anymore, just let them go to VM so I can screen them.
