That did NOT happen!

re:  866 302 0858, West****et Management is a collection agency for Qwest.  According to Sean at the Qwest Executive Offices (in Denver CO) West****et Management is part of West Corp and their address is 2703 N Hwy 75, Sherman, TX 75090.  Sean's direct number is 303 896 0446.  Another number for West****et Management is 800 949 1385.

THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN CALLING ME SPORADICALLY FOR QUITE A WHILE AT ALL HOURS,SOMETIMES MORE THAN ONCE PER DAY. I NEVER ANSWER, WHEN I TRY TO CALL THE NUMBER, I GET 2 RINGS THEN A BUSY SIGNAL. HOW DO I STOP THIS?

I also received calls from them sometimes four times a day..When I spoke to one of their collectors I found out why they were calling me. It was for a cell phone I canceled in March with Qwest Wireless. I asked that they quit calling and they demanded I pay the bill told him to go to***** and ***g up on him..I kept getting calls...I sent a cease and desist letter to their address in Atlanta GA and also filed a complaint with the FTC. The collector never did say the "Mini Miranda" which is required by the FDCPA and State Law protecting consumers a***nst abusive collections agencies.

I googled the number to find out where 870 was calling from as I have a homebased business.  Then, I read all of this about this number.  It appeared on my phone yes****ay as a missed call, I will be certain NOT TO answer if they call back.  Is there any way to stop them short of going to court?

These people are unbelievable...Total harrassment...Extremely rude...Will call any number...Reporting them for harrassment

i got wake up in 3 am  and was told look i will keep call you all day long i dont care you owe the bill . when ask what bill they told me it was sprint . after tell them the bill was payed before they got it . i sent the a faxed letter and it said $ own 0.00 later that day they called me back over 100 time in 9 hrs . and they told me nice fake . so the last time they called me i put them on hold and called sprint and they told then the bill was payed in full and it was a mistake . still they told sprint nice f*** joke a** hole we already know that trick . 10 days letter i get a letter from them about a nother bill . a***n this time bill wasnt even mine it was my dads that i havent seen in 30 years . i told then the next time they call i was calling the cops on then and that what i did a week later when the guy called me 2am . and the cops told me to take them to small claims court and iam going to file on 12.4.07 for 5k to prove a point .

Same thing here. The hilarious part is I picked up at 8pm my time, clicked through, and you get a message saying "Thank you for calling, our office hours are blah blah, please call back." So they are setting their automated calls to just harass people - there is noone there to talk to!  Hilarious while also annoying as*****. They are a junk debt collector; they are the lowest of the low, buying up very small debts from other companies who don't want to deal with them.Qwest Communications also uses them for small debt amounts.For those of you that need it, I highly recommend this:http://www.creditinfocenter.com/consumerinfo.shtmlThere are federal regulations about collections, and if they do not abide by them, you have the right to file in small claims, in your town, and collect $1,000 per violation on their part. :) Also, they are located in Georgia, and probably don't even have the right to collect in your state.

Received call twice without a message being left

they keep call me and never answner and tell me why there call . she said dont you know why iam calling . i ask to speack to a manger and still they were rude and said never mind we will reset the time . ?? i have no clue what there talking about .

I receive a call from 1-870-216-4090 numerous times a week. I'd have to say maybe 1 or 2 times a day. My number is on the Do Not Call list & I activate anonymous call rejection yet they still get through. I do not pick up the calls as I know they are junk calls.

This is West****et Mgmt-They represent Sprint. They call my cellphone and now my work. I told them to quit calling my work, but they continue. They are very rude and persistant. They claim I owe Sprint even though I left Sprint when my contract was complete.

HASRRASSMENT

This company called my cell phone repeatedly but refused to leave a message. When I finally called them, the operator (a girl named "Tasha") was extremely rude, wanting only to confirm my name, address, telephone, etc. but would not give me any information about "West****et". I refused to give out my personal information, but when I asked to be removed from the calling list, the girl rudely refused and ***g up on me. Who are these people? How did they get my number?

I receieved calls from 870-216-4090 twice a day for a week. They are automated w/no option other than to agree you are the person they are requesting or unavailable. I pushed ZERO instead and after a pause it gave me the number 866-302-0858 and an acct. number to reference. I immediately called back and got a person at "West****et Company" who refused to tell me what the company does and refused to get me a manager. When I put "officer X" on the phone, suddenly I got a manager. I gave her my phone number which in their systems was a Jose X and she supposedly removed it from their data banks. Her only explanation of their business was "we handle personal matters for companies". They are extremely rude and guarded--but hopefully this resolves the issue or a file a police complaint of harrassment.

HARRASSING phone calls and they refuse to identify themselves.  This time she called me a b***h?  What gives with this?

I got a call from this phone number on my UNLISTED CELL number! I don't know who they are but they need to quit calling!
