Called at 8:46pm Sunday evening. Spamsters trying to be most annoying calling because we are making anti Obama comments on Facebook.

automated call system ASKED FOR ME BY NAME. I said 'no', and 'he' said there was no message and that 'he' would call me back.

Asked for my son - when I asked for message I got spiel then request for donation to support our returning troops. Told caller that son is currently in Afghanistan (true) and caller seemed f****ered, said goodbye and ***g up!

Reduce the military don't ask more money for it. Idiot count =1

If I don't know who is calling, I don't answer. Simple. But this one it tough. They call and call. Several times I'd answer and put the phone under a pillow and walk away. It only made them call More? Weird?!!!

They call at least 4 times a day. I just use call block.

Never heard of this group.  If they are too ashamed to put their name on the caller ID, then they are trying to hide so****ing.  IF they are s****ing their number, I don't have to answer and talk to these nefarious slugs.

I received a call this morning at 9:04 and picked up to hear a "hello" back from a voice I didn't recognize and then ***g up and immediately got a call at 9:05 from the same area code and prefix (877-202-5429) and didn't answer this call****uming it was them immediately calling back to bother me.  I looked up these sites for references, filed a complaint of the do not call registry for both numbers and then called each of them back.  This number was an male's voice on an answering ma****g for the US armed forces saying they made care packages and such --- really?  ?????really you are calling random people to put together care packages?  Local communities do this just fine on their own as do churches.  Really, you are paying people wages to collect money to put care packages together.  The other number is a woman's voice on an answering ma****g for the ****** Cancer Society to "educate women".  Really?  Interesting that the recorded messages were very gender specific - like actors really - as to the sector they are claiming to represent.  The man's voice sounded like an army seargant and the woman's voice so caring and rea****g out to you.  And both these calls less than a minute apart?  WOW.....  Putting each of these numbers on block on my phone.

I keep getting calls from this number. Never leave a message. I asked them to take me of there list and not to call anymore they just keep calling.

I missed the very early call at 8:44 am this morning. Called them back and left a message to take me off of their call list/distribution list. Cant believe they call so early. I hate solicitations!

As a Veteran, I can say that the United States Armed Forces****ociation is certainly not a scam.  I received a call from this number also today but didn't pick up because it didn't identify who it was other than a telephone number.  I don't like solicitations either.  I may not like their tactics, but they aren't a scam.  Also D.R.B., to paint the President of this non-profit as wealthy and living in an "exclusive" neighorborhood is totally misleading.  I am from Austin, and just looked up his property on the Travis County Appraisal District website.  Despite the fact that his property is valued substantially more than mine, a property valued at $680k is not considered that of a wealthy ty**** in Austin, TX.  Especially since half that is the property and alot of that is appreciation since 2000 when it was valued at $380k and half of that value was just in the property.  He has owned the house, 3,000 square feet (a very modest size), since it was built in 1994.  He is a retired manager at 3M, which has a large research campus in Austin.  He lives in a desirable part of town, but certainly not "exclusive" compared to, say, Michael Dell's neighborhood!  Also I don't think that $222,000 on salaries, including benefits, of two full time employees and 4 part-time employees is extra***ant.  You and I, D.R.B, may not contribute, but don't paint this worthy charity as a scam, run by a wealthy President of the Board of Directors.

"United States Armed Forces****ociation" 877-202-9821, called me rather early in the morning, today at 8:15 C.S.T.   I called back that number to find out more about their legal name. They are "Veterans Support Foundation" doing business as "United States Armed Forces****ociation", based at 8719 Colesville Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910.  1-800-882-1316 ext. 126.  According to their web site they are a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization. Their web site is http://vsf-usa.org The president is John A. Miterko, a wealthy individual who lives in an exclusive neighborhood of Austin, Texas. The web site projects the image of a small organization, however it makes me uncomfortable to see a substantial amount of funds spent on salaries. Got a call from the United States Armed Forces****ociation during dinner. I told the caller that he was interrupting my meal and got rid of him. Upon calling the number its answering ma****e picked up and it was the same voice that called me. Obviously a boiler room operation, a scam. Apparently, this operation also uses 866-839-9006. I'm not able to trace either number. This group is supposedly a non-profit organization.

I called it back, it says United States Armed Forces****ociation,  don't know what exactly that is, but do not aprpeciate the three or four calls every night, no message left!

This number appeared on my phone as unknown.

Calls every single day, at least 3 times a day. That is completely ridiculous! I don't even want to waste my time answering the call because they probably won't take me off the list anyways.

877-202-9821 called today.  When I saw the "800 Service" on caller ID, I pushed "Talk," then "Speaker phone" and did not say anything.  It took about 40 seconds (counted to forty, putting the word "potato" after every number) for someone from the 877-202-9821 to s**** saying "Hello...hello.."  I did not say anything and they ***g up.

I get calls from this number, but there's ***ody there. That doesn't sound like a very good business plan to me.
