Called my phone at 8:00 at night.  No one there.  Try calling back, nothing; nothing at all.  Who is this?

I answered the call and it was from a website confirming my address for a CD I ordered. The CD contained information on how to obtain government grant money. I told them that I have a career and that I already graduated college, so, no, I was not the one who ordered that. They gave me a Customer Service Number- 866-631-1599, which I called and talked to a lady who confirmed my name and address and told me that there was a 4.95 processing fee for the CD to be sent to my house. I told her that I did not order that and did not need it. I asked how the CD was purchased, and she said a Visa card with the last 4 digits of MY visa card sitting in my wallet. So she cancelled the order, I got a cancellation number, I was very careful not to give her any information other than what she had, and I promptly went to the bank, closed my accounts and opened new ones. Apparently someone has my information, so I am now wat****g all of my accounts to make sure there is no odd activity on them. Also, I have an iden***y theft program through my bank which lets me know if new credit is applied for under my name, so I feel a little better. Hope this helps!

I also got a call on my cell phone from this number (it shouldn't happend because I'm registered on "DO NO CALL"...)and they asked for me by name and asked that I confirm my order for "grants".  The day before my bank contacted me to ask me if I had used my credit card that morning for 3 consecutive transactions that they could see. I reported as fraud.When I called this number back, it immediately drops the call from several different ****ods. The other two charges were from Googe Tree and Debt Snap. I also got a package from Debt Snap today. This must be a way they found to make a lot of maney by charging small amounts of money on several credit cards.

i am getting voice mails with static from this number and I noticed it after about 9 unauthorized transactions happened on a single day from someone ordering things online. I found out about the fraud because I got overnighted a pet med order and I dont have any pets. Since then I have gotten 6 packages to my correct address addressed to me that I did not make. I cancelled my card and now have to resubmit all of my automatic payment info to each company I use! Arggh! this frustrates me!

Every day sometimes twice a day. Also had some fraud charges on my account after ordering so****ing on****eenonTV.com. My mother also had the same problem from same site. I bet this number is some how related to all the thing this hacker signed me up for.

I called att&t to see if they could block it, and the guy on the customer care line gave me this phone number "18883821222"  it is for a government program so telemarketers wont call your phone . it is called "do not call".I could not stand this calling anymore

OH MY GOD! They keep calling. I have asked they stop and get nothing. I did speak to one guy and he said I had ordered so****ing from them and wanted to verify my address. *** chance.

i finally got someone on the phone, they are from this grant website i ordered a CD from. They tried to get me to sign up for some rewards service for 21 free days and when I said no she said "ok" and ***g up.

STOP calling my phone!!! I do not want this number calling my phone a***n!!!!!!!!

Every time the phone rings, I CRINGE! This number has called 20+ times in thelast 2 weeks. I tried answering it the first couple of times, but since then I have ignored it.

Calls me daily, sometimes twice a day, at very random non-business hour times.

I have been getting calls from this number daily for the past week or so.  Same thing happens--when I pick up, I'm immediately disconnected, and when I call back, the call immediately disconnects.
