this is an overseas scam dont let them do it go to the bank and file a fraud let the bank cauth them

This is a scam. I was charged $79.95.

I found out that I was charged today for $79.95.  I'm taking the advice of the previous bloggers. I'm filing a dispute with the bank. This is a scam.

This is a little ridiculous from all the comments I have seen.  I too was charged a specific amount of $82.35 to my account.  I believe it was the federal grant information that I had sent out for.  A couple of days later someone had called and told me that I was automatically signed up for some website for a free trial and would pay if I didn't cancel after the first thirty day.  First I told them straight up to not sign me up at all and second it hasn't even been thirty days.  Finally I never did receive the information that I had originally applied for.This is getting out of control and this company needs to understand the implications that will follow if they don't stop doing this.Thanks for the advice I will make sure I get my money back. I am calling as soon as it opens

Same story as Desiree.  I have however determined that this charge was triggered by my purchase of a "Federal Grant CD" for 2.79.  As with Desiree,I was told that they could not credit back because the trial period had ended, unless I sent written request....  however, the CD I ordered had no membership fees or other obligations****ociated with the purchase on the web page.  I repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor and was ignored then when I was asked to hold, I was ***g up on.  I called back, explained that I had already wasted an hour arguing with the 1st phone rep and asked to be immediately transferred to a supervisor.  After 40 min on hold I spoke (none too politely) to a supervisor, the supervisor agreed to refund the charges and cancel the account.  He advised me that the funds will be restored in 7-10 days.Following that call I contacted my bank, opened a dispute for the charge, had my account credited, also had my card # cancelled and a new card issued for my account so that no future charges will follow.  In all it was a real "PITA" but, they will not be stealing from me.So... 2 things:  1. Call the number and tell the operator that you will only talk to the manager or supervisor.  Make them agree to cancel your account and refund your money.2. Call your bank, dispute the charge and ask them to cancell your card and issue a new one so that no future charges will be made to your account.

I have the same charge for 79.95 on my account. I'm on the phone with an agent named Arceo - he said he can't refund me the money b/c it is outside of 7 days but it's not! It's 5 days! I don't even know why I received this charge.I told him that I want to speak to a manager but after putting me on hold, he came back to tell me that I would have to call back in 30 minutes b/c his manager was in a manager's meeting.  I asked him what his manager's name was and he couldn't tell me.

I noticed the same charge of 79.95 on my account. Currently is pending however I am trying to resolve the issue through my bank and have had to cancel my debit card

I notices a charge of almost $80 taken out of my checking acount with memberward's name on it. I have no clue who they are! Anyone get this resolved?

I WAS ALSO CHARGED $33.87 AT LEAST 2 TIMES. I TOO DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE CHARGE ON MY BANK STATEMENT. I SPOKE WITH MY BANK TODAY.  I WANT THE CHARGES TO STOP AND WILL BE WORKING WITH THE BANK TO RECTIFY THIS SITUATION.  DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS IS?

I was charged $33.87 three times in a span of 35 days. I had never heard of this company until I saw it on my statment.
