Leave a CommentThey are a debit collector office but have old or outdated info because they tried to call me and say I owe money on an account that's been paid off and closed for 2 years (Direct TV). Now they call 3-4 times a day and it won't stop.
Bill Collectors on Steroids
CBE Group. Super aggressive debt collector. Stated I would pay through the company website where we owed and supervisor pressured me to give them my info so they could electronically withdrawal payment on their own. I refused. Kept harassing/pressuring me. I ended up ****ing up.
I have been getting call after call after call from this # for the last 2 months. The calls are from daylight to about 8:00pm. They are so numerous that when I go to the doctor's office, church or wherever I have to turn phone off to keep them from harassing me. Several times I have been told they are from CBE a debt collector. As I am retired & on a fixed income, I do not have any debts so I know they do not have a legitimate one a***nst me. The voice I hear when I hear someone sounds like a heavy Indian accent. Sometimes I hear a phone redialing. Last Friday I was fed up so when they called I blew a whistle into the phone--they didn't call back all weekend but have already s****ed this morning. What can be done??

Calls almost everyday. I have missed the calls mostly since they don't call within my timeframe (they call at 3am! - I live in Hawaii). They never leave a voice mail.
