im 99.99% sure i dont owe any medical bills cause i havent been to see a doc since well b4 i had insuarce run out a few years ago, but i have other collecitons calling me for past due stuff like my house, idk if it has anything to do with that, i didnt answer and no voice mail,
How many times do these doctors want to be paid??? This is just coming down to straight up harassment. I was in the hospital for anaphylaxis, insurance paid the bill, and now they are harassing me for more money. WTF???

According to the Do Not Call criteria, charities, debt collection agencies, political candidates and those doing surveys are not covered under the Do not call rules.
I assume this is a collection agency trying to collect for a hospital bill for my adult son. He gave them information that he was unable to pay due to not having insurance and I was the one who mistakenly gave them my phone number at the hospital. This is my son's debt so why am I getting all those calls?

I've had several calls from this number. The lady had what sounded like a very heavy east Indian accent. Very poor English. This DNC list is not working.
They have been calling for years. Same as you guys get.Go to fcc.gov and file an online complaint form against them. I think you check the 'prerecorded' message box for complaints like this. there are several options. let's make enough complaints that the gov investigates them.
Got the 'pause' thing just like above mentioned... 'if you listen you are the person' lol as if that's privacy secured!What bothers me about this call is that the 'issue' that they were calling about didn't exist in reality but had been paid off some time ago in full and long before it reached 'critical mass'.First - by them not even verifying that the account was in arrears or not (its not) they defied our privacy by talking about something in a way that wasn't even true and Second - leaving it on a message location that could have been heard by anyone is uncouth as well. I think thats what they hope will get people to pay up but in effect it's not really legal anymore to talk about someone's business 'in public'. HIPA laws are pretty much with everything now not just medical. I don't know if they've heard or not but since they've apparently got so much business right now I'm guessing the word is out - but pretty much everyone is having some kind of financial changes in their lives right now so leaving condescending messages on a voice mail isn't really going to phase anyone for payment.It will however get a comment here saying that I question any company who uses a company who deals with things this way and with this snotty attitude - and if you're using this company than you deserve whatever backlash you get from customers for their lazy business practices. I would think verifying an account first would be 'the standard operating procedure' to 'safe face' for the company they're supposedly working on behalf of. This is one case where outsourcing the service would have met with higher level of professionalism, fewer iffy grey areas on the laws of leaving messages on unconfirmed voice mails and they would have had a much better attitude for less money.Get your money's worth people, outsource your collections before you use this company and then when they get those same nasty calls because they have no jobs, then maybe they will get it from people just like them and it will be a 'full circle aha moment' for them.
This company is non compliant! The are rude & 1/2 of them don't even speak english. They said they are a collection agency for a company on line??? When I asked a few questions they HUNG UP on me!!!! Callers beware give them NO PERSONAL INFO~
They have been calling me with the same message to hang up if I am not so and so... Now they have resorted to some shady tactics like saying they are from this and that. Today it was a CHURCH. And to call them back. Obviously these people are shady.
My 74 year old mother went to the emergency room on 12/01/08 for a gallstone problem. Today, 12/30/08 I got a call on MY cell phone from this number (877 237 7787). I googled the number and called them back. They say that my mother was billed on 12/18/08 for the amount of $350 dollars and that she is PAST DUE AND THE MATTER IS BEING HANDLED BY ESCALLATE COLLECTIONS. When I explained that even if a bill HAD BEEN SENT on 12/18/08 we are ONLY 12 DAYS BEYOND THAT DATE. Still, the woman from Escallate insisted that I give her my mothers mailing address. I told her that if she didn't have my mothers information then she should not be harassing her.These clowns think that they can harass and pester people whenever they want. My brother is an attorney and I will let him know about this call and let him speak to the clowns at Escallate Collections.
I am writing regarding pre-admission visits with a HMP physician at OSU East prior to a series of 3 sequential outpatient procedures over a course of 3 weeks. It APPALLED me that when I saw the HMP physician's assistant (prior to seeing the HMP physician..hmmm....) she even said to me " I don't know why we have to see you every time you come for your procedure, it seems like a waste of time." I was floored...but I was also thinking the exact same thing!! I was also frustrated when I started receiving bills for these visits (for my $20 copay/visit) which should have not been billed to me, since it was part of an outpatient procedure. So therefore I got billed $60 to see a physician who doesn't even follow me on a regular basis just to listen to my lungs/heart before the procedures. I could see where the nurses in the pre-op unit could do the same thing and save time and money and hospital resources. The nurses have to ask me the same questions anyhow.... it seems pointless. Well, I really became angry when I kept receiving bills for these unpaid copays, even after I had spoken with my insurance company and they said it was "taken care of" and they had contacted HMP to get the copays credited, since I shouldn't have been billed for them in the first place. HMP said that they never received contact from my insurance (which I know is not true). I have still received bills for similar procedures that happened over a year ago and have been calling HMP about the issue. I have to repeat myself every time I call and explain why I shouldn't have had to pay it in the first place. It seems a poorly run organization and they should work on their billing/coding as well as patient financial accounting and customer service skills. The doctors and PA's I have seen were very knowledgeable and polite (though brief) so my only issues have been with the organization as a business.
First off these are medical collections companies and I know because they call here all day and night for my ex. who had no insurance, and second off they will more than likely keep selling the debt to other collection agencies and on and on,if you cannot recollect the charges ask them to send you an ITEMIZED statement with the orignal info and billing,hospital info. etc. nine times out of ten they will not be able to get this info.This happpened to me also after a motor vehichle accident that I was not even at fault for I got nothing from the company and was certianly not paying for charges they could not prove valid.I never heard from NCO again for the bill they said I owed I was supposedly at two hospitals at the same time.When I mentioned how this would be possible to the Rep on the phone she had no answer.I said EXACTLY so until you can show me an itemized Statement from both sources your not getting a cent from me and wasting your time calling,she said she would send me something and four years later I am still waiting.The calls for my ex I like to mess around with them and they usually dont call back again.Telling them he is not here (which he is not) and when you find that Muther Focker call me and let me know because he owes me a bunch of money too,and other things,they never call back.Blow horns work nicely too.Most of the time I do not answer the phone.Oh and legal action yes they can take it but it usually NEVER happens and not for anything under 1000.00 because it is not financhially benifitial and then its only a cival suit.Hope this helps dont let those idiots scare you they get paid by how much money they collect every month ,they will try anything to scare you into paying them.
I kept getting calls from this number and a person who couldn't speak English asking for me by a name I couldn't make out. Finally it started coming through as a private number. When I first started recieving bills from a company called HMP of Franklin County, LTD I did not know who they were. When I called them they said they were the "house physicians" who saw me when I was in Ohio State East in Jan. of this year. It suddenly dawned on me it was the day of my knee surgery. It was same day surgery. When I called the hospital they told me they probably were the ones who "read" the lab report on pre-adm. testing. I gave them my insurance info and still was turned over to collections. This Escallate, LLC are nasty people. The woman I talked to on the phone was rude and wouldn't listen. I finally told her I gave all info to the company who billed me and her retort was "well they said they didn't get it...give it to me or we will have to take legal action! I just wish I had know this before surgery.
I got couple of automated messages on my phone asking for "jane doe" and if you are not this person you have to hang up, otherwise, if you will listen to the message they will take it as a confirmation. how can i get read of them if i can't call them or listen to the message? If it's fraud and their staff can't speak english, where are they calling from, overseas? they should be investigated.

I recieved a call and message from this number in some bastardized, broken attempt at english, and the only words that were understandable was my name. If they expect anyone to understand them, forgetting they're a fraud, they need to have more qualified staff.I only found info on them when I googled their #, yahoo didn't show anything, and only know about them from reading on the internet.
I have been getting calls from this number 877-237-7787. They are a collection agenency and say a doctor turned me into them for non-payment. After speaking with the doctor and proving I paid, the Doctor said they called them off. These people still call and send letters. They should be investigated.
