Leave a CommentI have received several calls from this company American Acceptance stating that they bought old debt at a check cashing svc that was 275.00 and I now owe them 1200.00 for fees and legal stuff? Really 1200.00 not happening and I explained that I would pay the 275.oo that I owed bc I had lost my job a few years ago but not that much......they proceeded to tell me I was gonna go to jail and they had warrants after callin my local court house there were no records of this info. I contacted them back demanding a letter or email, after weeks nothing and then a call from a Det. Harris stating same info but the only address they have is a po box....its a scam and I am not paying 1200.00
Called my sister and said they were calling regarding a bounced checks that I had written to a friend (never happened) And to my knowledge they have broken two laws 1)Called before 6am; cannot call before 8am, 2) Informed someone other than the person (me) that they were trying to reach what the call was in regards to.
A couple of weeks ago a man by the name of Mr. Holle called about a payday loan for $500 from 2008 (I have never had payday loan) and now he is trying to collect for $1,000 but I can pay he $200 to settle the debt but the funny thing is that I never had that bank account, so I check my account from 2008, never happen and when I called the next day, he said he would send my all the information which I never received and while I was talking to him about the information, he ***g up on me but he did mention Vincent Solino who called me today when I tried to return his called, the phone (
Said they call in regards to bounced checks. Called before 8am, called someone else telling them I had a debt involving bounced checks. Two laws already broken. Cannot call before 8am, cannot call another person and tell them what it is in regards to, ie what debt collection is for. So Mr. Salinos office called from
Called me multiple times in two days about a debt for my estranged mother. They discussed the amount, acted like they were here to 'help'. When I told them I haven't spoken to her in two years but I could see what I could do, we left it at that. Then for the next 2 hours I got repeated call backs while in meetings. S****ing at 8 am the next morning (today) they called a***n. I asked them for a supervisor, got Vincent Solino. I told him he shouldn't be contacting me and discussing details of the debt, that they should only contact me once, etc. He got very rude, said it isnt a debt collection, and that my mother is bouncing checks all over town. He finally said that he would take me off the call list.
I called this number because someone left a message on my voice message system. I message was unclear where this person was calling from so I called the number to ask what is the name of this business the guy answered telephone was ruded and combating refusing to give me any information. Therefore, this must be some type of frad.
Called saying this was American Acceptance Inc with a claim number and to call back.
