Dear Venmo user. You recently attached your checking account to Venmo for a transaction of $720. Contact Customer Service on 18773103181 if not done by you.
Said I recently attached my checking account to Venmo for a $720 transaction. Did not do this. I have never used Venmo.
Attachment to my bank account. If I did not do this to call them back.
Looks like a phishing scam. Text message stated I recently attached my checking account to Venmo for a $720.00 transaction. I logged onto my Venmo account and there is no such activity. And they conveniently provided a phone number to call them back (and undoubtedly provide them with personal/account information). No Thanks :(
I did not approve anything for these people
Similar text received, about a $720 transaction, and an apparent atta****g of my checking account to Venmo. It must be a Phishing scheme!
Asking for approval of “money” $720 we “approved” through Venmo.
