Leave a CommentI just reported these a**holes to the Ca***ian Do Not Call List, hopefully they will receive a fine. Here is the link to file your own complaint, you do not have to be registered in order to file complaints. I say every time this happens we should all file complaints with the Ca***ian (or U.S.) do not call list, I'm tired of this ****. https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/pfplin-fccoin-eng
My phone logged 11 calls from 877-343-3683 this past week. And, my service provider told me that they do not have the technology to block calls.I told them that I will cancel the contract because their service do not meet my expectation.
This number keeps calling my house and the person is on an open line, but says nothing. Really stressful considering I am waiting PATIENTLY for a****ential employer to call me with a job offer.Just heartbreaking that people could be this insensitive.
I've been getting calls from this number for at least a month! Sometimes they call twice a day - once in the morning and once in the evening. It's becoming majorly annoying.
Yes they do give instructions. Dial 1 when prompted and they will ask you to dial your 10 digit phone number followed by the # key. Hopefully this works.I've been recieving calls from these people for several weeks now.
As mentioned by many people here, I called them back. They don't give full information how to register in their do-not-call list. They say dial 1 or 2. They don't say that dial 1 followed by your phone number. I dialed 1 many times, it didn't work.So I suggest to dial 1 then subsequently your phone number. Thanks all those who are helping others to get rid of these bad people.
Everyday (almost 2-3 times a day) receiving calls from this number. If someone knows what can we do a***nst them? I'm sick of these calls.
Call BRI back at that number, and on their automated service, select #1 to add your phone number to their Do Not Call list, enter your phone number. They say 72 hours to remove and update list. The worst that can happen is they still phone your number, since they had it already. Also, next time you are on the phone with your VISA or bank etc, tell them to remove you from their lists so they don't give it to third party companies that work on their behalf.
Been calling all day. It is awful when we cannot even have a phone without being harassed by supposed bank calls. And, if they are bank calls, then the banks are very lacking in Customer concerns. Who wants to buy anything from someone who could care less about intruding on your personal time.
Has anyone been successfully taken off their list?I will not answer numbers I don't recognize and if it is important, then they can leave a message! - Ottawa
I've been harrassed by these calls as well. Never actutally hearing from them though. They would always **** up.I called them and added my phone number to the do not call list. You press 1 and dial your number with area code and hit pound and it should work. They said it would take 72 hours. hopefully no more calls! The recorded voice prompts you how to get on the do not call list.
This numbver keeps on calling me without shame, no matter how u tell them they are shameless and even if you are on DO NOT CALL LIST these ppl dont care; call me 6 to 8 times in a day HARRASSMENT that's all it is
Just call them back. You will get an automated voicemail that instructs you to leave your number for their do not call list.
Got this call today Aug 14, 2009 at 10:52 AM, claiming they are offering me a credit alert monitoring service on behalf of my TD Visa, and offering a free credit report and score with 30-days no obligation. They ask for your birthday to confirm your iden***y before they send you the application. They have a legitimate website. I called TD Visa and they confirmed to me this service.
This must be an automated dialer from a call center that say dials 10 numbers simultaneously and picks up on the first to answer. My caller ID has been logging calls to this number for the past 2-3 weeks. They got my cell # and sorry, I'm not "quick draw mcgraw" getting the phone out of my hip holster to answer faster than 1 ring and the line is always dead if I try to pickup.Just got my last call Aug 13, at 7:22pm and answered in 1.5 rings to a dead line.I've too have been pestered by Visa representatives trying to sell me Life/Disability Insurance or monthly credit reports of who's inquiring on my credit history.Perhaps they should buy some life insurance themselves... because if I ever get a hold of them... :)
I got call just a while back. I didn't answer it.Well, Good thing I didnt answer it :)
called my cell in GTA at around 5:40 pm on Aug 12. And the lady said she was calling on behalf of TD Visa. she was trying to sell me the credit protection service and also offer a free credit report. I asked the lady the price for 2 times and she lost her temper, very rude at***ude! She also asked my birthday, I almost told her but I didn't. I called my bank later to confirm if they authorize any agency to call on their behalf, my bank said no.
Yeah, they called me, from the Royal Bank Visa Card insurance bureau. SOunds legitimate, though they really just want to sell you stuff for your card you don't need.
Same story as above but ice got a Vancouver number
Called my cell in GTA at 3:42PM August 6 and when I answered the call had already ***g up.
