I have been receiving harassing calls to my cell phone from this number for more than a year, 3 or 4 times a week, always at 5:07am, demanding to speak with someone unknown to me. They caller would not disclosed the name of the company, even though I asked repeatedly. I have patiently explained that the individual is unknown to me, and that they are calling at an unreasonable hour- and to stop! They became confrontational and stated that the individual put my phone number (which I have had for 25 years) on a loan application, which en***les them to call me whenever they want and at any time they want (which is illegal). The last few months have been robocalls that just **** up on me (which is also illegal). I finally hired an attorney, who figured out it is Allied Financial calling, but could not stop the harassing calls. I submitted a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau of the US government, who had fined Allied $1,750,000 in 2010 for harassment, and filed an *****ction a***nst them a***n in 2013 for illegal conduct. I promptly received a personal email from CFPB, that they will be contacting Allied on my behalf. If you are being harassed, I recommend filing a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, as they seem to care and will take action: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/#debt-collection
