Leave a CommentInteresting -- if you'd be so kind as to provide your address, the complete name of your organization, and your address of incorporation, I can work to have you served with discovery within the next week or so, so that a Court can examine your claims of "needing a good address" prior to mailing a letter. I presume you keep meticulous records of all of this mail, and what will appear to anyone not involved in your scam as an amazingly su****ious returned mail percentage of 100? I'm sure I and the Court would find your records a very interesting review. But I have no doubt, although I do hope I'm wrong, that you and your little fraud are far too afraid of prosecution to provide the 2 piece of information I requested above.
You people are so full of ****! If you are legit, give out your address when you harass people, Your "company" has been reported to the FTC so watch out and stop calling people. How come you have twenty different phone numbers and they are all untraceable VPN numbers? How come the payday loan company you claim to represent has never heard of you and tells me that you are trying to scam me because I already settled my loan with them? How come you only want my bank account information and won't tell me where to send a money order to pay you ****s off? How come you don't have my address when you call? How come you know have a website or any indication that you actually exist? How come you are so ****** that you have the ***** to get on this site and admit that you break the law everyday in an attempt to defend your fraudelent company? The answer is all of questions is that you are FAKE PHONY SCAMMERS WHO NEED TO GET A REAL JOB AND STOP PREYING ON PEOPLE!!!
So why there is no listing of you on the website, why aren't you listed in Better Business Bureau and why dont you know the FTC laws that you can not harass people for a old debt
First you have to have a good address to send the letter to. If it is sent and returned in the mail that qualifies as having been sent.
W***ver the anonymous poster from this scam fraudulent company may be, he/she is REALLY ******. If he/she, or indeed, the fraudulent CSS Company, had any inkling of Federal debt collection laws (to wit, the FDCPA, and other state laws), he/she might realize that by posting the rambling, incoherent rant, he/she has admitted that the company routinely violates the FDCPA. The FDCPA states as follows: "Within five days after the initial communication with aconsumer in connection with the collection of any debt,a debt collector shall, unless the following information iscontained in the initial communication or the consumer haspaid the debt, send the consumer a written notice containing" 15 U.S.C. 1692g(a).So, praytell, how exactly is it that you are mailing such required notice if you are admitting that you don't have the addresses of the consumers that you are harassing? Please do post your address -- I'd love to sue you; however, I suspect that CSS has no****ets to mention, so it probably wouldn't be worth my time.
Nope, you guys are fake. "Sandra Adams" called me too. Said a deposit was made in the amount of $450 and I owe $2000 because it's been 2 years. The dates and amounts she gave me were completely wrong, they never happened. Your ****** company is just trying to scare people into giving out authorization to debit their account. You are illegal and need to stop.By the way, I have NOT moved for about 5 years. So nice try with the whole skipping out tactic.(Funny thing is this message board has an automatic spell checker. All those funny red lines you see when you type mean those words are misspelled!!!!)****s.
Please post your companies Address on here. I have some mail I need to send you. Oh wait you refused payment by money order. I'll be ****ed if I'm giving you my checking or savings account numbers. I am not going to give you my debit card either. You'll take payment in mo or not at all.
Your Spell checker - it is ge***ked. legitamate?
Corrected Version:"Please request so****ing in writing!! We would be happy to provide it to you. Actually we would LOVE to know your actual address so we COULD get you so****ing in writing as you put it. If you hadn't c****ed your address and not left forwarding one before skipping out on all your creditors YOU would have received so****ing. The saddest thing is that you have the ***** to get on this complaint board and make claims that we are criminals. PLEASE have your so called attorney call us. I believe that you have our phone number and quit lying to people before you end up getting them in more trouble than you are in!!"I am sorry, I have better things to spend my time on but to make you feel better I ran it through spell check. I promise you we are legitamate.....
If you were a real agency, you might invest in spell check.
Please request so****ing in writing!! We would be happy to provide it to you. Actually we would LOVE to know your actual adress so we COULD get you so****ing in writing as you put it. If you hadn't c****ed your adress and not left a forwarding one before skipping out on all your creditors YOU would have recived so****ing. The sadest thing is that you have the ***** to get on this complaint board and make claims that we are criminals. PLEASE have your so called attorney call us. I believe that you have our phone number and quit lying to people before you end up getting them in more trouble than you are in!!
I finally broke down and called a lawyer. These people as I suspected are not real debt collectors, They are in his words "criminals" They buy lists of people that took out these payday loans whether they were paid or not. Then they simply just call and harrass. Their names, the names of their firms are all fake and it is all a scam. Tell them that their call is being traced and recorded by the police. Then send them a letter demanding that the calls stop and that they are breaking the law with their harras*****t and send a copy of said letter to your states Attorrney Generals Office. Proof that they are a fraud is that they will never send you anything in writing. The above actions will stop that collector but you will ultimately be called a***n and a***n by another of these scammers. You just need to keep doing the same thing.
These people called me demanding that I pay an old payday loan that has been settled and paid. Also they threatened to sue. When I demanded that they send so****ing in writing they put me on hold and then said they are in the process of closing the case and that I should fax them some kind of proof. When ask for an address she hesitated and would not give me one. Should I be concerned??
When I googled them, this is the first thing I got:CSS****ociates Home PageThe only thing currently available here is my hack for getting RMI callbacks to work through VPNs, PPP, SSH tunnels, and firewall scenarios in which it is possible for the client to achieve a direct JRMP socket to the server.
I too have received a call from "Sandra Adams" (automated message) stating she is the "Regional Arbitration Clerk" no business name) "calling to serve you notice that a decision has been made regarding your file. You or your representative must contact my office immediately at 877-385-1669 or press 9 to be connected to a repesentative now".Called from number 214-484-0031
I just recieved a call from this number as well, somebody named Ron saying he is calling about a check fraud, he wouldnt give me anymore information and i wouldnt tell him if i was the person he was looking for or not, sounds like a debt collector to me who uses scare tactics, they called from a different number the number they called from is 202-683-6799, which is in the District of columbia. If anyone has any other info on this number or this company please let me know. Apparently they name is CSS &****ociates but when you google them, nothing comes up for that.
No worries - it is a hoax, although I know it may sound legitimate. Did you ever take a out a pay day loan, either in a store or more likely on the internet? One of the worst parts is they call your relatives and friends you might have originally put as references, thus THEY get harrassed too!
yes.. i got a call today from the same number saying it was sandra adams and that she was a regional arbitration clerk.. not real sure what its about
Now a choppy, hard to hear atomated recording from a woman named Sandra Adams was left via VM message on my work phone number. She didn't say what company she represented, but that she was a "regional arbitration clerk". The same call back number was given: 877-385-1669. Is anyone else out there getting these calls???
This is very likely another one of these scams where old payday loan debts are being sought by using scare tactics and threats. A "Don Mack" of "CSS****ociates" left me a VM message (at wor****). I'm not 100% certain of the caller's name or business because the message was so garbled, but he left toll free number 877-385-1669 x304. Can anyone shed light on THIS one??
