Leave a CommentThey also called me this afternoon saying that they had a package for me and that no one was home. She said that the package was paid for and that she needed to unlock the security question "who is your employer?" to release the package.
I just had the same thing happen to me, did you find out if it was a collection agency or iden***y theft scam?
Got a message from 877-402-0893. Message said I have a package from Macy's and left a tracking number and 866-235-7513 as the callback number. When called, asked me for my current address and wanted an answer to a security question. They had my name and previous address from 4 years ago. The callback number greeting says "Best Courier Company in America".A collection agency or iden***y theft scam?
they called and said we have a package for you and it is from MACYS! they got my home address
Did they really get you a good job?To the first guy...watch it because it might be a collection agent. My partner does that job and if they are trying to find out where you work and stuff they might be coming after you for money. And depending who this sarah is she couldve even been the one calling who knows.
