Leave a CommentWe get these calls at work a couple times a month. They are looking for a co-worker of mine and say they have a subpoena for her unless she calls 877-412-6366. Otherwise they will show up at the office and create a scene. They never show up. Other complaint sites list there name as ISD Group. It's a scam!
I spoke with someone from 877-412-6366 and she did not identify herself. She told me that there is someone that is looking for me this morning to serve me with a summons to appear in court for a $800 cashnet loan. I told her that I never had one for that amount, she then said uh well $712. We need a payment today for $100 to stop the paperwork. She asked me what my phone number was. She gave me the number that she had on file which was a totally wrong number. She told me I took a loan out with cashnet back in April. Its kinda funny because the bank information that she gave me is my old bank, but I don't live near that area so I don't use that bank and which that account was closed. Its a weird thing. But I know I don't owe it.
I received a call today stating a Donna Stanely was calling regarding a summons she was trying to serve to me and arrange a time and place to meet. On my voicemail she stated that if I wanted to contact the plantiff (no name was given) directly that I could contact 1-877-412-6366 and refer to a case number (I am omitting that here) and that since she could not get a hold of me today (this is first I had ever heard from this person) that she would now be trying to have me served at my place of employment or my residence. She then stated my name (misprounoucing my last name) you have officially been notified. That was the end of her message.
I received this too. Do we know who these people are and where they are located?
