Got a call from GE Collection tonight saying my 88 year old, bedridden mother in law had missed 2 payments and wanting immediate payment. She could not have been making any charges from her nursing home. So now Penney's is saying she has a $******lance and wants $79 immediately. Don't even know where to s**** to figure out who ran up these charges.

They have been calling 3 time a day for the last 10 days. If it continues 4 more days I'll report it to the FCC. They are asking for a person that doesn't live here. My wife answered once a ***g up on them. They just don't quit.
The first time the guy called, he asked for my brother, who does not live with me. when I asked to take a mess, the guy ***g up. So in a few hours the guy calls back and ask for my brother a***n, I just simply said " when's the last time you heard one of these (click)", I ***g up on him first. Now he calls 3 times a day some times, and has s****ed calling with unknown number, so when I see it is one of those, I awnser and with, "****g chong cnang take out, can I have your order?" Im going to make him crazy before he gets to me!!!!!
Seems fishy...They have been calling 2-6 times per day for about 2 weeks now. Sometimes on Sa****ays and Sundays at 8 AM like today. They called back a***n today at 11:00 AM, this time we answered it armed with the info from this site. They identified themselves as being from GE Money with a ****stani or Indian accent. (My wife had re-activated her JCPenny)card approx. 3 months ago to purchase a last minute item. She to date has not received a bill, nor has she received a replacement card. Out of sight, out of mind. When she answered, (there was an automated message, followed by some silence)...finally the woman on the other end advised that they had not received her payment and her account was now past due. The address the woman had on file was from a place my wife lived 5 addresses and 10 years ago!My wife advised her that she had given the store she was at all the correct contact information when she was there to re-instate her card.In fact, she gave them her cell phone number at the time of re-application, not this house line - so how did they know to call here? They have never called her cell. The woman wanted to get her current address to "update" their records, but my wife advised her that she had been reading about this phone number online, that it was a****ential for fraud, that she would go to the store to update her contact info (even though they SHOULD already have the correct info), and pay off the measly $100 card bill. She asked for the woman to please stop calling here. The woman on the other end ***g up on her.Real professional.
theis company doesn;t take the word no, that the person they are looking for at this number doesn;t live here. the customer service person was rude and accused me of lying. I just got this *****ing number and already having problems from the prior people who had it!!!!
Got a call from them Sat morning about 11 a.m. It was from GE Money. They're a credit card co. owned by General Electric, which also owns NBC. I had applied for a credit card online at ShopNBC.com. They were just calling to ask questions about/verify my application. They ask 3 or 4 questions that are multip*****oice and are based on public records... but things that fraudsters wouldn't know. For instance, they ask "In what county is 123 Main Street?" (which would have been a previous address of yours). When you apply, it says you'll be considered for the ShopNBC MasterCard (or was it Visa?) and if you're not approved for it then you'll be considered for the ShopNBC credit card, which can only be used for their stuff they sell on their ShopNBC TV channel. The response I got back after I submitted my app online was that I'd be notified by mail of their decision, which I thought meant I was denied for both cards. But after they asked their questions over the phone, they said "Congratulations, you're approved".
It was banana republic credit dept calling to verify credit card apps I submitted online.
