Leave a CommentThis is Mr. Henley, I have some information in my office.... Bill collecting s***.
This is a call from Imperial Recovery Partners. They call repeatedly on a debt that was paid off in 2009! I am finally sending them a cease communication letter. If they continue calling after its a***nst the law. The man who called me earlier today got my blood boiling. I tried telling him that the debt was settled TWO years ago. He told me there was still a debt for 82 dollars. He finally ***g up when I wouldnt let him talk since I called bs on the whole thing. I called the number back and actually got in touch with a nice man who explained the date it was paid off and agreed they should no longer be calling and gave me the address to send the cease letter to. Just irritating that collectors can continue to call after so****ing has been taken care of. And I am sure there are people who wouldve believed a debt was still due and would have been glad to pay it not knowing.
All you are is deadbeat debtors and you are the reason that the wonderful country we all live in, bleed for, and would die for is in the economic shape and distress it is. There are people like you that want handouts or are too lazy to take care of the responsibilities that we all so hard work for. You take for granted the freedom you have and chose to lie cheat and steal from w***ver will allow it. You are the people that have tarnished this wonderful county and you all would get ****ed if another country talks bad about us, yet you do nothing but continuously take your pathetic lives for granted.I love this country and did everything to resolve my debts,. I was skeptical when I called but I OWED THE MONEY and paid it. Why? Why didn’t I try to get out of it or argue about it or find a way around it? Because I OWED! That’s why! I’m not a piece of S*** or some slimy grease ball. Before you talk **** why don’t you look in the mirror and take some responsibility for yourself and do the RIGHT thing.
just recieved call from this number, saying information in his office we may not be aware of, and must call back call the number back and get message that they will connect to than there nothing I ***g up after 30 seconds of silent.
On 7-6-11 received a voice mssg from Mr. Henley saying that he has information in his office we may not be aware of, and must call back before 5pm today. What a bunch of garbola... we have excellent credit. Not returning this phishing call.
Just received a call from Mr Henley ~~ call back by 5 pm they have important business that needs to clear upTODAY it would be in my best interest to return the call.. however I owe NO One.. so i know it is a scam!! I have a call block on phone added this number :)
i received a call from them today. the call by 5 or else.. i called them even agreed to make monthly payments of 25. then when i asked for a mailing address the lady "Keshia" said we cant take payments by mail only electronic.. so does that make me refusing to pay or them refusing my payment..
They have been calling me for months, leaving the same messages you all have described! Today, I got the serious-sounding "call back by 5 or action will be taken and a decision will be made" message and I finally called back. They're claiming I (under my old married name) and a woman named Charity have a debt from 5th/3rd Bank dating back to 2008. I have not gone by that name since early 2007. I do not know anyone by the name of Charity. I never co-sign loans for people. I have never had an account with 5th/3rd. I have never had a late payment on anything in my entire life. I do yearly credit checks and just bought a new vehicle 2 weeks ago. If this was a real debt, wouldn't that have shown up **somewhere** before now? When I s****ed to dispute what the woman who answered my call was saying, she got rather mouthy with me: calling me a liar, yelling, and saying "I'm going to file this paperwork right now under refusal to pay." Then she ***g up on me and when I called back to give her a real piece of my mind, she ***g up a***n. Yes, I refuse to pay. She was unable to tell me what the supposed collection issue was even for, would just say "there was an overdraft." Listen lady, if you can't come up with so****ing better than that, you need to find a different job.I'm contacting 5th/3rd bank tomorrow to let them know what is going on and that this company is using their name for fraudulent purposes. If they're going to try to scam me, at least use the name of a bank that I've actually had an account with in the past.
Looks like you are all salty because you all owe debts. hahaha
I got the call and called them back. The call sounded like the same scenarios as described in other comments - they have a folder, if I don't call by 5 p.m. they may have to take action that we both would like to avoid. I returned the call - they said they were "Claim Enforcement Partners." I told them to take me off their list. Woman said it could take a couple of weeks to do so. They have been calling me for months.
Ok. Everyone check this out. My hopes are that this will bring some levity and clarity to your situations. This company has been calling my mother's house for well over a year. The debt they've been claiming I had was with Bank of America.Over a year ago, when this company was DBA: Regent****et Management; I sent a dispute via all three CRA's as well as ChexSystems (The company that monitors issues on behalf of all major banks). None of these agencies were able to get this company to comply on showing for this alleged debt. ChexSystems alone having had no record of this was proof enough that it was an invalid debt. I sent them a cease and desist letter and all was quiet until they c****ed their name to Imperial Recovery Partners. Apparently they think because their name c****ed, it somehow made the debt valid and okay to s**** messing with me and my family a***n.Well, just as I was prepping a letter to send to them along with copies to the Attorney General in my state and theirs, as well as two independant attorneys; they left a voicemail at my parents' house that is truly all the leverage I need, and proof to all of you out there that this is an illegitimate company. One of their representatives didn't realize that the answering ma****e had picked up, and we now have a recording of a conversation that was being had revolving around "...the bag of ****..." and "you can pay me back later, I'll give it to you at lunch..." Suffice it to say, the representative finally pushed the ****on that feeds the standard message they leave everyone; but had no clue, or didn't care that he recorded his drug deal.Do whatever it is you have to do to report this company. The bottom line is that even if you do owe your debts, you are protected by the letter of the law. If a company does not follow the rules or if the debt is past the SOL, it will be thrown out of any court it's taken to.If you do owe a debt, contact the original creditor. They will work it out with you, or point you in the right direction. This company is not legitimate. Not even a little. But, if you want to buy some ****...I know this guy there...
They call my out-of-state parent's landline and step-parent cell saying they need my contact information for a 'personal matter' they can't discuss. They have begun to call multiple times a day. My spouse called the number and "Enforcement Division" answered.
Multiple repeated calls for a person who does not reside at this address. Have asked them not to call and will file a complaint with the FTC. Yes that is the Federal Trade Commission. The correct place to file a complain which will be investigated.
I called the number back, and it was a debt collector as someone else had mentioned. I let them know how irritated I was that I keep getting calls from so many different numbers from the same voice yet different names, and that the calls were to cease immediately. (I have never had any payments on anything ever be late in my life, no nothing has gone to collections for me). They did not ask for my name or anything, just the number that they kept calling. When I gave them my number, they told me what names they had listed for the number that they were trying to reach. Turns out that 2 people with stuff in collections had my number previously. They said that they removed my number from the list. Guess we'll find out.
I just got this call, and have received MANY calls from this same person/company. It's happened from several different numbers too. 3 different ones - all toll-free, and the person calling is always the same voice, but has used 2 or 3 different names. The one I just got was Marcus Cornwell. It's always the same thing... "We have a file here that we need to clarify missing location information" yadda yadda. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but decided to one day. I answered, and the line was silent for a moment, and then went dead. I think I'm going to call my phone service provider and block the number.
My call was from a Timothy Kelly and yes, a few weeks ago I got the "This is about someone that you know" call and then today I got a bully on the line that claims he is collecting for a bank from years ago. I told him that I was avoiding paying them because they're idiots and I am claiming bankruptcy. Buzz off. :)
recorded message states the date and time to give you the impression that it is a live person leaving a message. Says his name is marcus Cornwell and apologizes for calling yet a***n. A file was transferred to his office and he would like to clear it up can't leave proprietary info. Looking for location info on someone(I listened to the message several times and couldn't make out the name so don't know if it is intentional so that you call to find out who) I picked up the phone while the message was being left on recorder. This happened a few weeks ago with a different number and name but same scenario. I wonder how many people they scam off this ****od. I plan to block the number as I did a few weeks ago. I'm sure they'll come up with a new number next week though.
As a rule of thumb, anytime a debt collector calls they are better to avoid. They are trained to scare you and break you down. The only time I respond to them is if I am served a summons. Never ignore a summons and always show up for court even if you owe the money and can't win the case. If you don't show they can add fees and increase the amount of the judgement and take advantage of your not being there.
Caller gives no name and states they need additional information on "a person" I know. sounds like B.S. right from the s****.
It's a debt collector
