Got a call tonight - next business day after signing up for Comcast Cable. Watch out! They begin fishing for info immediately. They got the installation address from us (gosh we're not quick as we used to be) and luckily not the order number since it was not handy. then we just asked to have the install date moved up and she said we had to call a different number. I registered that number with this site. Don't think it was really Comcast. they fished for address info and called our cell number we called to order the service and not the home number we provided for the record.
i THINKK THAT THE CALLER IS TYING TO GET YOUR CREDIT INFO. IDON'T KNOW HOW THEY KNEW I WAS LOOKING INTO FIOS

It's a call from a Comcast affiliate.
They called me and after the long silence, identified themselves as Time Warner
I've received two calls from this number in the last two days, they do not leave any messages. Does anyone have any idea who they are?
I got many calls from the number
Someone called claiming I was eligible for $100 cash back because I was a TimeWarner customer. He knew my address, but wanted me to verify the apt # on the account. I ***g up before any further conversation. Definitely NOT time warner
I had contacted Time Warner and ordered cable service last night online. Today, this number calls and knew all the information I had used for Time Warner. They wanted to "verify my installation setup." The man began pushing a $9.99 per month equipment protection plan. He was very aggressive asking for a credit card. I ***g up on him. I checked my confirmation email from Time Warner and realized it was a different number.
