Thanks for all the helpful info on this site...I got the call from this number this morning. And now I figured what happened as below. This doesn't mean yourself are on debt or late on your payment. My opinion is good chance is that your credit card info was stolen. In my case, I had a credit card and its info was leaked. The best bet is to check with your credit card company or get a new credit card immediately to avoid any fraudulent transaction.

Calling my mothers house

I have received several calls from this number asking for Arron Williams and I am not him and have requested them to stop calling and they have not.

These people keep calling me everyday around 8:30am. The do NOT leave a message and when I try to call back it say that this "wireless customer cannot be reached" Very frustrating!

They called my elderly PARENTS in Maine!! I'm in Florida. What the HECK?!?! They called and the recording said to enter the last four of my social. My mom called me all freaked out - "a recording asked for you and wanted the last 4 of your social!!" What kind of company has automatic calling asking for that?!?! And HOW did they get my parents' phone number?!?! They just moved there - I'm 65 years old... my parents are in their 90s! I have absolutely NOT tied my parents' phone number with mine in any business. I'm shocked at this - how can they get my parents' phone number? And no one answers when I call them. WHAT is going on?

Have had several calls on home phone (LAN line) from this number. No idea who it is. Google research indicates they are acting as a debt collection agency. Recording said it had a message for _________ -- an ex-husband I divorced 26 years ago and have spoken to only once since (and that was several years ago now). Am very puzzled as to how this connection was made, why it was made, and how they got my information. I also am on the do not call list, and the number I now have is new, given to me only a few months ago. Very, very weird.

The have called my cell phone several times and I have not answered.

Kept getting calls from 877-506-8170 looking for my sister. Got info from here and called Verifacts (?) and left a message to remove my number from whaever list they use.

The name of the Company is Verifacts. Their address is 204 1st Ave Sterling, Ill. Their Senior VP is Jodi Gabler Matteson. She's on Facebook. Her email is [email protected] w/ the website being skiptracers.com. Their number is mentioned above.

Calling for someone I know, not for me, asking for their SS#. I'm on the do not call list, how can they still call my number? *%&#@%^&$

This number called my cell, I did not answer unknown numbers and they did not leave a message. Then about 15 minutes later I got a call from a friend. Same number had called her and wanted my SSI number.

I received a number of missed calls on my cell phone from this number and finally answered this morning. The call was a recording that was actually addressed to a roommate that I hadn't lived with for 7 years. I have a feeling the call was on behalf of Great Lakes who had called me before about my former roommate defaulting on his student loan. You can't call back and they give the call back number as my cell phone number! Irritating!

Caller keeps calling me form a computer for another person. On way to tell them they are calling the wrong number. Says to press 3 if it is the wrong person, and I did at least 5 times, but the still keep calling back.

This number keeps calling with an automated message for someone I do not know. You can not get a real person, but it does give the option to select that you are not the person they are calling for. However, it keeps calling several times a day. I think it might be creditors, but I have no way of getting them to stop.
