Number came up in a pop-up, claiming that my computer was infected with a virus from malware - telling me not to res**** my computer but to phone the number immediately for help. Tech support forums indicate that those phoning the number have been asked to hand over money to "solve" the non-existent problem. (Closing the browser got rid of the pop-up, as the screen froze when it appeared.)
