Leave a CommentS****ed getting calls from them daily, with no messages left. I just got a call and picked up with no one on the other end. Another call or two from them and I'm taking my business elsewhere. This is my cell phone and I'm not going to put up with the disruption.
Michael, you're a genius!
How to block calls if you are on Verizon Wireless service:http://www.ehow.com/how_4890408_unwanted-calls-through-verizon-wireless.html
duh... turn your phone OFF during class!!!!
Keep getting phone call from 877-552-0545 and finally answered and ***ody there. Constantly calling 7 days a week at anytime.
Caller ID: 1-877-552-0545 every day for 2 weeks, sometimes from other similar numbers.I have a newborn baby and have been dealing with them calling me 8 times including weekends. Register.com is a bunch of a**holes.Register.com is going to lose all of my business.
They have called four times within the last 21 hours! What the heck, why are they calling me??? Last year, the same thing happened when I put off renewing my domain. This year, I purposely renewed when the e-mails were coming so that I could avoid getting the annoying phone calls. So I already re-newed a couple weeks ago, so why the heck are they calling me!? At the least they should go ahead and leave a message. It is cowardly to not leave a message. They are very frustrating. Wish they would leave me alone.
It is illegal to put false information with domains(URLS) You risk being shut down and losing all services and URL's on accout, as well you risk being charged with fraud, and it can be as high as 250,000 Just giving you the heads up
f*** you register.com
Hey, best thing to do is login to your register.com site, and c****e your contact information. I just did mine, so that my e-mail is sent to an e-mail account that i rarely check and my new contact number is ... 877-552-0545. Hehe,
They keep calling me during school and getting me in trouble.
actually my caller id said Out of Area 877-552-0545 not Unavailable. This makes me think with the bad connection this was from off s**** since register.com is based in NYC and I am in NJ, so I would be in the 'Area'.
I had a call from this number this morning. I only answered it because I am waiting for a call from someone with an 877 number. Very bad connection, with a lot of static and noise in the background. I answered and the man asked for me, but when I said the connection was bad, they ***g up. Now that I am finding out it is register.com, it is irritating. They called the other day and left at home for me that my account was expiring and it was extremely urgent that I contact them immediately. I was getting sometimes 2-3 e-mails per day from them about renweing my domain, how it was expiring very soon and to act quickly before I lost it and by renewing with the special offer I could save a lot of money. When I checked one of the first e-mails, and checked my domain, it wasn't set to expire until late January 2010 and the e-mails were s****ing in October 2009. And now the phone calls in November before Thanksgiving. If you want to block the calls, you can try contacting the phone company or cell provider, also their online account tools sometimes allow setting up blocked numbers. Some Cell phones can be set to block an incoming call based on the number if the caller ID info is available. If they Caller ID information is blocked or unavailable, the block may not work. You can also try filing a complaint with the BBB, consumeraffairs.com, phone company, your state consumer protection agency, FTC, & FCC.
same game every day two to three times a day pickup and no one is on other end after 15 seconds the caller ****s up no noise on end of line
*** they s****ed calling me today! 2 times within an hours span
This number is very disruptive! I am very upset by it. I'm a classroom teacher, and use my cell phone for emergencies only. This is beyond intrusive.
I can't believe how many calls I'm getting from their dialer. When I called to complain they said "I'll make a note of that", when I asked to speak with the person in charge of the dialler, he said, the person in charge of the dialler does not take calls. Great, w***ver it is, makes a heck of a lot of them, but can't take one him/herself???? Now I'm on hold to speak to a supervisor. Why do we have to bring this to their attention? Take the time to call. I'm ****ed that a company would do this to good paying customers - are they ******? CRM 101 anyone? JD Power's customer service award winners? Huh?
Try rea****g him direct through email at: http://www.google.com/profiles/mtrachtenbergI'm getting hit by them daily and have been filing complaints at the Register.com at:http://help.register.com/cgi-bin/register_help.cfg/php/enduser/ask.phpHit them daily with complaints for every phone call sent. That's what I'm doing.
t's register.com, It got about 50 calls from them this week. Apparently some genius in their marketing department thinks it is a good idea to harass their customers. Call them at their corporate number. it is: 212-798-9100. Hit "0" when the auto-prompt comes up. The receptionist's name is Kate. Tell her the issue, and let her know that you don't think phone harassment is an acceptable way of doing business. Ask to speak to Miles the CIO.Anonymous on May 14, 2009 at 1:02 PMCIO of register.com is Myles Trachtenberg. Ask for him, and let him know how much you enjot register's new marketing strategy.
They keep calling me everyday, but i dare not pick up...does anyone know how to make them stop!???or how do i block this number?...those *******s are ****ing me off, i swear i will tell everyone of my clients and future clients to stay away from Register.com!!!
