Leave a CommentThis person has called my inlaws, my mom, my work and they are saying that they are a debt collector and are going to serve me papers if I don't give them my routing information and account numbers. They have never sent me anything in writing and are very very rude and have been harassing me for the last 24 hours. I called the orginial company I borrowed money from and they said they don't even use this company for collections. This was 7 years ago and now they want to take me to court ***? I have contacted the local police about this possible scam. Don't give any info to these people unless they can prove who they are. The company I called asking about them said they were probably overseas well the police officer said they told them they were from LA. So why don't they have a physical name and address if they are a legit company? BEWARE!!!!!
i intend to shut these guys down...they called my wife's employer and spoke to h.r....so i called my atty and we are going after this so called company...any body want to join?????
This is a debt collector. Their name is Consolidated Mediation. They called my parents and in-laws to get my # even though i'm listed. Anyway they said I have only 5 business days to payback some payday loan i supposedly took out in 2009. They wouldn't provide the orginial amount of loan, name of company or date it was taken out, yet they expect me 2 give them my checking account info over the phone? Really? I told them to send some kind of verification via email or post and they said they didn't have to because they weren't a debt collector just a "mediation firm". I told them I wasn't about to give info like that over the phone so they can do whatever they feel they need to do and ***g up.
I got a call from them same as you guys. They say they are Consolidated Mediation. I was told I have an outstanding pay day loan from 10/09 and I can either pay it now or they'll serve me with papers. When I asked for a physical address and proof of debt they got ca*** and said they weren't a debt collector just a mediation firm. I told them if it was a valid debt I wanted proof and wasn't about to give financial info over the phone to someone who couldn't prove who they were.
phone call
Same here - 3 calls within seconds of each other, and then a voicemail. I think its su****ious that they dont even leave a name... they just referred to it as "the firm". I dont have anything in collections, and I havent received any notice aside from these phone calls. My address hasnt c****ed in years, so if its legitimate, they should be sending any information to the address they have on file. There is no way im going to give out my address to someone who isnt even professional enough to leave their company name on the message.
Same here. Same message. I googled too. Weird.
An unavailable number called my cell phone 3x back to back, finally leaving a message after the 3rd call. When I listened to the message, it was a recording saying I had a claim and charges filed a***nst me and that they needed to verify my home and work addresses?? They didn't leave a company name or anything, but left this phone number for me to contact the mediation people?? However, when I googled the phone number it says the phone number belongs to some jewelry tool supplier in GA (TMC Horology). Anybody have any more info?
