Yes, you get voice mail when you return the calls. You get a recording when you answer your own phone when they call to INSIST you call them back. I happened to get a human today. I'm glad he got a good laugh from the whole thing. Oh, and he told me he could care less how long he listened to me cuss because he was getting paid for it.
I have received several calls from these people. They have other numbers, too. 877 559-9855/877 481-1141/ 877 588-0798. They left TONS of messages, all recorded, for two months now. I finally called them back and they are RAM North America. REgent****et Management, a debt collector. They were awful when I called them back, finally, like I belonged in jail or so****ing. I own no one any money and they have the wrong person, but they won't leave me alone. I cussed them out, on tape, I'm sure, for all of you! The guy I talked to laughed at me when I expressed my distaste for this harassment. They are scammers... BEWARE.. and if you call them back, VOILA< the number is validated, as the nasty man told me. He asked me if I "Kissed my kids with that mouth" after I let him have it. Why not? He called me! I hate this kind of harassment and wish I could stop it.
I got the same call; however, I actually answered and still got the voice mail. The recorded message even went as far as saying that he couldn't leave "proprietary information over voice mail." HUH? I answered the phone, and apparently this scam recording can't tell the difference between a human voice and a voice mail. Luckily, we can!
I received a call this morning and I always research numbers in on my cellphone that are not identified before I ever think about calling them back. After reading here I will not be returning this call. For cellphone users, here is how I handle these in the future. I have a group on my cellphone called Don't Answer, then when this type of individual calls a***n I have them entered in my directory as Don't answer and I set the ringer to no ringer and then when they call back I am not notified or interrupted. Sure the number will appear in your log, but it will say don't answer. End of annoyance!
Found out even more on these scammers. They are an illegal, unlicensed debt collector that have been scamming people. Somehow they get your credit report and use the info to try to scam you into paying old debts or even paid off debts hoping that you forgot about them. Total S***bags!!! I reported them to the Federal Trade Commision. Caller: Rams= Regent****et Management Solutions Call Type: Debt Collector On my other post (accidentally replied to another post instead of making a new one...very sorry) I said they buy past debts but either way...it is a scam. Do not call them back or even answer the phone. They use different names and sometimes different numbers.
OK....husband researched this. He found that they and the other callers similar to them are third party old debt collectors. Essentially they buy (for pennies on the dollar) past, unpaid debts that are soon to be too old to collect on. They harrass and attempt to intimidate. DON'T CALL THEM BAC**** DON'T give out ANY INFO....even who you are. THEY ARE SHADEY AND A SCAM!!!!
Man by the name of Mr. Flannigan keeps calling, leaves vm stating, "sorry to call back, I have some conflicting information about you that needs to be resolved. Please call me back, I believe I will be in the office between ( diff time zones every msg), I look forward to resolving this conflicting information today. I did'nt call back because all my business is local. This has to be a scam or spam.
I get the exact same phone call just like the other people that have posted with the conflicting information blah blah blah. He has c****ed his first name from Mike to Ryan Flannigan. I refuse to call him back but he calls my cell phone number between 6-10 times a day......I have even blocked this phone and he still gets through..ANYONE HELP?????
Getting a recording a couple times a week from "Mike Flanagan" with "conflicting information" that he'd like me to help resolve. I suspect this is a collection agency trying to get ahold of my wife's parents re: their mortgage problems ****ton Loans). Very sneaky and underhanded way to go about it, but that's consistent with how the lender has behaved themselves.
He calls one day as Mike Flannigan then the next week calls as Terry Reed. He doesn't leave any info but says it might be conflicting information about me or someone in my household. He called my work number so I think this is a fake caller. DO NOT give out your name or personal information. I've heard of scams like this where they will ask for your social security number to verify information when indeed they are getting it in order to initiate a claim. if they really do have a legitimate claim, they should already have all your information. I am running my annual credit report because this seems a little to weird for me and I have been a victim of iden***y theft before.
Same guy calling leaving different names for himself telling me he can't give out info over my voicemail, but other companies can seems kinda weird if you ask me.
I got 2 calls from these people. He stated his name was Mike Flannigan and said "Sorry to call back, I have some conflicting information about you that needs to be resolved. Please call me back, I believe I will be in the office between, I look forward to resolving this conflicting information today." He never asks for anyone by name so I refuse to return the call if your calling but have no idea who your trying to reach. I wanted to know if anyone knows who this is.

Please call me back, I believe I will be in the office between ( diff time zones every msg), I look forward to resolving this conflicting information today. When the call is returned,an automated voice says," Please hold while we connect you" ,two minutes later an automated voice, " the extension you are trying to reach is unavailable" and then ****s up.
Have called our home phone approximately 10 or 12 times with the same message but different numbers. How do we stop these calls from our home phone?
Received a call last evening on voicemail stated that this had to do with a mortgage issue but due to the confidential status of this information he could not leave more information and that I should call immedicately........ The real kicker to this is I am one of the lucky ones and I DO NOT have a mortgage
Collection Agent - Very persistent

My mother received a call from this number, and a "gentleman" named David. He ran through the name of the "law firm", and then wouldn't repeat it for my mother. He asked for someone of a similiar name and she advised he had the wrong number. He s****ed yelling at her and then ***g up. She called the number back, and "David" answered a***n. She tried explaining that someone else had called for the same mistaken person on her cell phone number, and David interrupted her, yelling that he never called this number and ***g up on her a***n. My mother is stressed by calls like these, and not knowing if they involve family in some way or not, so she tried calling x2 more times, and even blocked the number. "David" refused to give her to a manager, a***n yelling that he had never called her number. She was ***g up on each time.
