Leave a CommentWhen I Google A-1 Developments, It shows a business alright. In the UK....I'm afraid you've been had.
I got a call from this number as well. It was actually legit. I now work for A1-Developments as a Manager. They sent the application to me and set up all the interviews.
Called our home at 7:30 am looking for someone we do not know. When I told him that the person did not live here, the man said "he" put this number down on our employment application. I had him read the telephone number to back to me as I thought he had misdialed and as it was our number, I told him I didn't know this individual, and he once a***n said "are you sure there is no one there by that name" so I then knew it was a bill collector.
Received a call on my cell phone from this number claiming they had a package for me and had left a notice a week ago, needed a password because it had been insured for a certain amount of money, and could not be left at the door. They had my correct address and work information, and said that they would try to re-deliver today. When I asked where it was from, they said Chicago, and since I have family in Chicago, I thought that they were legit. We c****ed the password to my birth date. After calling family, the post office, and the police department to ask about packages/or companies that require a password on delivery, I realized that I had made a huge mistake by giving them my birthday. When I tried to call the number back, the mailbox was full. Now I am truly concerned about iden***y theft and everything else you could think of. I live alone, and will not be answering the door if someone does show up. I really feel ******, I know better...I work for the Govt.....
They told me thay were National express delivery and said they had a package from Macy's that they tried to delvier and couldn't wanted my personal info..said it was my password...(my birthday and work) needless to say, I told them to send it back to the sender, if they wanted me to have so****ing they would have all my infoand I ***g up. THIS IS NOT LEGAL and I am looking up lawyers who will take this case. BECAREFUL AND DON'T GIVE INFO OUT!!!
Two calls-stated they had an "employment opportunity" and asked where my son worked. He has collection issues and this was attempt to find out where he is now working. I did not answer his question as he is unemployed.
Received this call at 7am which if a bill collector is a***nst the law. Asking if i was still looking for a job and that they got my name by a referral.
It's a total scam! Do NOT give these people information!
I recieved a call from this number regarding a reference on my mother for employment then they called my mother on her phone asking for a reference on me. When I call the number back I get a message saying the mail box is full. They said they were a placement employment out of seattle washington
Claimed to be express delivery delivering package from macys. I only beleived them bc I just had a baby & have received some packages. They confirmed my address (they already had it) & said no signature required but was a passcode w hint my work. So I told them where I worked. So basically they now have confirmed address, ph & place of employment. So my guess is its a bill collector. Whatever. I'm declaring bancruptcy anyway...
This is a scam number claiming to be "Prime Employment Services." There is no such company. Do not give this people any information about yourself.
