Leave a Commentwhat can I do to stop this? please? getting texts all day. tried STOP twice, only seemed to encourage it. but the first attempt registered and 'claimed' I had been unsubscribed from mydeals2go. would never register my number on a site like that. ever.
This is obviously a scam. They sent me a text message thanking me for visiting their site, and I haven't done anything that would have qualified me for anything like this. Since I didn't have any idea who these people or even kind of company this was, I researched the number and saw these great comments that just confirmed what I had thought. SCAM. Never give any type of bank or credit card information over the phone and if it is real winnings you wouldn't have to pay for anything anyways.

I received the same text with a code. I grew su****ious when I called and they never asked for my code. The first thing they did was ask for my credit card number for shipping. I continue to ask questions like what company are you with, how was I selected and he became persistant to received my credit card number. When I told him I worked for the goverment and if this a scam they will be tracked and reported the man ***g up. I even told him I did not have a credit card and he asked for family members, and yes he accent could not identify which kind though. BE AWARE

My daughter got this same call and offer. Thank God she doesn't have a credit card because she would have fallen for it. She's only 18.

Just received this text with another one in regards to Walmart gift card. i don't recall ever signing up. I send the reply to stop but have yet to receive confirmation. Does anyone know where I can report this or if this is illegal in Wisconsin?
Keeps calling and left a text saying call to claim my free $20 walmart card and $50 gas card.

Got a text from them. Called them back told them it is illegal in my state for any company to text a cell phone whose owner had not given them explicit instructions to text them. I also told them that I would NOT pay for any gift card that was not free to me. When I told them I would not pay they ***g up immediately without ever identifying themselves. I stutter quite badly on phone so they did not want to stay on the line with me to discuss who they were, where they got my info, etc. I never visited any website that had any "free" gift card offers.
