Leave a CommentI received the exact same voicemail from 810-787-1779. Clearly a scam but I don't exactly understand what they hope to achieve.
CALLER ID WAS 810-244-6237 SAME THING, A SCAM
B*st*rds just called and left the same ****** message on my VM. I don't give out my phone number so this is all BS.I hope the **** behind this scam gets flushed down the toilet. When is the FCC going to fix the ability of scam companies from other countries to access into our phone system and flood it with garbage. Imagine how much productivity would go up if 1 minute of 100 million people is returned to them. This **** can't continue. Please someone come up with some technology to put these a**holes out of business.
I called, was really sweet, asked for Lisa. Lisa was on another line, so I asked the girl what the name of the company was, she said it was "Consumer Debt Hotline". I told her I was going to turn them in to the FCC, since I was receiving unsolicited calls on my cell phone.
I received the same exact call from Lisa Middleton and the whole thing. I called back to them and they ***g up on me. Not sure how they got me cell phone either. Think it is time for someone to take action such as the government in stopping them.
Message left from 248-682-9791, message cut off but what was recorded is the same as others to call 1 877 723 1426 for the 1.5% rate @12:01 PM EST
Got same message as Doug...definitely a recording as my voicemail only recorded about 3/4 of the actual message.."last courtesy call"..blah blah..Also received this on my cell around 2:20 CST.
Same here ....Scam
I got the exact same message on my cell phone from Lisa Middleton. Never talked to anybody last week and no company name mentioned either. The number I was told to call was 877-723-1426. The number that showed up on my cell phone was 248-673-8891. I get these messages often for some reason, but I usually don't answer and they rarely leave a voicemail.
I received the same pre-recorded message from Lisa Middleton. Have reported it to FCC since they can't leave prerecorded messages on a wireless phone. I actually called this company back and got ahold of "Dana." I told her I had never spoken with Lisa and asked for information on the company. She said "whatever" and ***g up on me. I called a***n and asked for a supervisor. I was forwarded to a voice mail box of a man who left no name. I called a***n asking for the manager's first name so I would know who to talk to and was told his name is M A N A G E R at which point Shaylee laughed and ***g up on me a***n. After four attempts to get information I was denied all information on the company and ***g up on repeatedly. Like I said, already reported this to FCC.
got the same message as Hank, only i have no debt or credit cards.
This is about the third time I have received this voice mail message, Lisa Middleton, etc. Same scam, "We spoke last week about lowering your interest rate..." etc. They are calling my work cell phone to leave this message. Has to be some sort of phishing scam or else a very unscrupulous sales tactic.
From Google Voice:S. This will be last courtesy call, so please gimme a ring today if you can reach me here at 1(877) 723-1426 a***n. That number is 1-877-723-1426. Thanks.
same thing as doug. Im a little mad they got my cell number!
I just received the same voicemail as Doug. I have no credit card or outstanding debt. Have no idea how they got my cell phone number I never give it out
Got this on my work phone today, which is unpublished. Scam for sure
I had the what sounds as if it is the exact same voicemail as Doug had. No company information was provided and they never identified that they were trying to reach me specifically. Spam!
Some young sounding woman identifying herself as Lisa Middleton called me from this number and stated that she was calling me back after talking with her last week. (I didn't talk to her or anyone else last week and no company was identified) She said she had found a solution to my credit card interest rate, and could offer me 1.5% cutting my payment in half. Said it was going to be her last courtesy call to me, so I better call back quick to get the good deal. I'm sure its a scam. Not sure how they got my cell phone number to call me
Hank,I just received a call from them as well. I believe that this is some sort of scam. I pay my credit card bills in full and am not behind on any payments. I think that they are hoping to find someone who has credit debt that will want to take them up on their offer. I think that they hoping some fool will provide their social security number to them. I would not keep calling them.
It's "Consumer Debt Protection." They called and left a voicemail saying they were returning my call (which I didn't make) about my credit card (which I don't have) and the minimum payments that I'm making (which I'm not). I called back about nine times and got non-answers from several employees about their non-existent supervisor who was always mysteriously "on his break." I plan to keep calling until I get bored. I owe money on some medical bills, but I'll be ****ed if I'm going to put up with this garbage. You call me and make arrangements like a civilized human being or you can eat me.
