Message saying I need you to call 877-724-3177 regarding your back tax debt. IRS doesn't sale your tax debt and they don't call they send letters.

Says calling regarding my tax debt.

This lady is busy! Just got a call as well. Thought it was funny that she called from a 925 area code but said to call this 877 number...Also, I paid my taxes. I don't owe anything. Scam.

That I owe taxes. I don’t file taxes I’m retired social security only. Not required to file.

Called about my tax debt. Funny, I didn't realize that I had tax debt. Seems to me that I get a refund every year. Tempted to call her back...

Fake tax debt call. Caller ID was 214-817-0685, but said to call the 877 number.

Same message that everyone else here received re- tax debt, etc. The v/m on my cell showed a caller ID of 980-724-3177, but mentioned the 877 # everyone else reorted.

Left a message saying it was Elizabeth Williams calling in reference to my back tax debt and that she needs to discuss my repayment or a elimination.

Professional wants to talk tax debt & new relief laws left reference number

Originally called from 13095711383 according to my caller ID. Person said their name was Elizabeth Williams calling to discuss back taxes and how to repay it in eliminated gave a reference number. I didn't answer they left the voicemail

Claims I have some form of tax debt the needs paid or eliminated. Left some random reference number

Sounded very professional. Wanted us to call her back about tax debt(We have none). Even gave a reference number

Same claim as above - stating “need to speak to me re: overdue (non-existing ) tax debt”. States new tax laws

Out of state (Illinois) call with a very professional sounding caller in regards to owed taxes.

Pretends to be legitimate with a "reference number" but is spam attempting to steal social security info.

The last time they called they had a different number but the same name also trying to collect tax debt and said I would be arrested within 24 hours If did not coaperate and pay this debt.

This is an attempt to trick you into exposing your SS# under the guise of satisfying a past tax debt in accordance with the new tax rules. #1) the IRS will never initiate a call to a tax payer #2) a c****e in tax laws is never retroactive to a previous years return
