I have an acct but I've always heard that banks don't generally call and if you are concerned if it's legit then to **** up and call the number on your cc, not the one that the scammers leave. I listened to the msg, then called the number on the back of my cc and the customer service rep said they are getting A LOT of ppl calling about such messages. I'm sad ppl are being scammed. So here's what helps me: Never answer a number you don't know (if it's important, they will leave a msg) Call any company you do business with via the number listed on your statement or your card It's was tempting to answer this call but I'm glad I didn't, they could have done real financial damage.
Left a message for a netspend prepaid card...definitely strange. I don't have one and I don't know how they got my number.
THE COMPANY'S NAME IS "NET-SPEND". IT'S A TOTAL SCAM. MOST PEOPLE ARE BEING CONTACTED BY CELL PHONE. YOU WONDER HOW THEY ARE OBTAINING THESE CELL PHONE NUMBERS.
