Thanks to this site & My iPad, I checked out the phone number. I shut down my computer, waited a couple of minutes and res****ed it. Ran a scan, found nothing. Computer is working fine.
You will get a voice on your computer saying you have a Trojan Virus and then you get a message on your screen saying RDN/Trojan.worm!055BCC7288994 INFECTION. Call Microsoft Technical Support immediately 877-777-8951. I immediately called Microsoft Technical Support and they said it probably was a scam call and to shut off my computer and res**** to see if I get the message a***n. After I brought it up a***n everything was fine. The phone number IS NOT MICROSOFT SUPPORT!!!
Big Scam.
This is not Microsoft. Supposedly a Trojan infected my computer. I clicked out of Edge through task manager. Ran a scan and quarantine but it did not detect anything.
The message that appeared on my computer say it was going to ruin my computer.

Scam. Is not MS number. Use task manager to **** your browser. If you try to ignore it or close it normally, it will just pop up another window
Said my computer had a Trojan virus which infected my personal accounts and to freeze them. Call this number 877-777-8951 to correct error. Froze my computer. Shut it down immediately and did not call number.
Fake Microsoft warning that a Trojan was installed. ****ed IE, the problem went away.
Message popped up on 7-30 claiming that I had a virus and needed to contact the number immediately. The pop-up froze MS Edge. I closed Edge via Task Manager. My system appears fine but it is too soon to tell. A virus scan found no malicious software.
This is a hack attempt. I called Microsoft at 800-642-7676.

a box popped up on my screen and said I had a Trojan horse and all my personal information was being hacked and I had to call this number. The number is a call center in India and he wanted access to my system to "fix it"

Popped up on my home computer 7-28-2017. Locked my computer up, said I had a virus so I forced a shutdown, and waited a minute or so & res****ed. It was fine after that.
