called my wife and said a compliant was forwarded to their office but never said the name of the business and for her to call them back

i thought it was a fake call but i was just served a wage garnishment at my job snd a judgement for a credit csrd i never paid

The message I had was "Michael Jones from the Processors office regarding some do***ents returned here to the courts...Reference case number so they can pull up the file so that you are aware of the court date coming up."  First - why would they leave an 877 # and not the local number?Second - you must be served in person...bogus, bogus, bogus!!!

Received a call froma Michael Jones says he was from the processors office and said he had do***ents for legal actiona and I need to call the agency handling the case? I checked public records there is nothing pending a***nst me or my husband. Must be a bill collector, they are all frauds!

Yeah the same here, He will not take any form of pymnt except a bank visa card. If this was a collection agency they will take any form of pymnt. So they have to be a scamming company.

They CAN NOT garnish you wages because that is a federal crime.

it is not this number but from this address, because i asked him for the address and he gave me the physical and then put me on hold and then i asked for the city and state and he says i gave you that i told him no you did not and asked if i was planning on mailing him a payment i told him no. i await another call because he said that they would put a lien on my bank account so he wanted to talk to the Office Manager

I received a call today from them. The voice mail was  a little rude for someone trying to be professional. I was told that I owed over $2000. But if I paid today, they would settle for $1300. However, I don't have that kind of money and I told him that. These people had me so upset that I was literally shaking from my nerves being so unsettled. I was told that I could use a Visa or MasterCard to pay, I do not own one of those. However, I find it odd that they will not take a check... Any input on why that would be?

Some idiot called my work and told them that a legal complaint had been filed a***nst me. As far as I know ***ody calls you out of courtesy to let you know that they are going to be serving you. I already won one case because the statue of limitations was expired. I'm thinking this is a collection company. I guess I will find out what they plan to do in the next couple of weeks.

I thought this was a scam and now i got served at my work...the people saying its a scam must work there...they want us to be served caus then we gotta pay 3 times as much as the settlment....how can i stop this wage garnoishment???

This caller pretented to be from the county office. He called every known relative. Had my grandma and grandpa scared to ***** He rattled off some number and ***g up.

People,I just got a call from someone at (877) 798-9***.  Left a nasty message for some guy that had my old phone number.  I called them back and told them I'm tired of being called by their company for someone who doesn't even live at my address.  The phone number information they had on the guy they're trying to collect on is 8 months stale.  And, what they said in the message is illegal under the federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.Educate yourselves.I called just to ***** with these people and it was fun.  They are not lawyers.  Upon my information, this is a company called:HG Group31500 G**** Street, #3160-10Lake Elsinore, CA  92532These people are debt collectors, and the worst kind.  Don't agree to pay these people on the phone.  Get the demand for payment in writing.  Ask them to mail it to you, and the iden***y of the debtor they represent.  DO NOT AGREE THAT YOU OWE MONEY WHEN SPEAKING TO THESE PEOPLE ON THE PHONE.  If they call to harass you, ask for their fax number, and fax a letter stating that you dispute the existence of the debt and the amount owed.You would likely know if they represented someone who had actually obtained a judgment a***nst you.  Somebody has to go to court and get that.  They have to prove the debt, as a lawsuit for breach of contract or promissory note (etc.), and you have to have notice of it.  A process server or sheriff deputy would physically hand you, or someone at your home or workplace, copies of a complaint and summons.  If you've never gotten that, "BG GROUP" has nothing but empty threats.Learn about how this works.  It's easy to read on the internet.Good luck.P.S.  When I spoke to I think the head guy at BG Group, he said no one from his office would EVER call my number a***n.   STAND UP FOR YOURSELVES.

Originally received a call stating that they wanted to come out and serve me legal papers and that i needed to call this number to find out what the legal matter was about. I called the number was transferred to Rick Davis who after i figured was B.S. tried to tell me about my life and college and that i was being hostile and after i said i wasn't he said well I am trying to be nice and we will talk a***n and the next time I wont be so nice.

it was an old card. almost out of statue of limitations. seems like they are legitimate. its on my credit report now.

I'm going to the police department right now to file a report on them. $28,000, they said I had a master card. I never had one from anyone, but who I have now. ( in good standing, mind you.)

I asked her why she called or found me, because you dont live here. But she wouldnt tell me. She left her number and asked my to give it to you. I told her I hadnt heard from you in about 7 years, didnt know what to say. And its none of my business. She also said it is in San Francisco. They said they were a court process server and asked if I would be home the next day between 9-4 so I could be served. I don't think a process server does this. I think it is a debt collectors office.
