Called regarding my Mastercard, however I do not have one. I stayed on the line to try and have number removed from call list but according to them, the only way to speak with someone is if I enter my CC number. Will block call another way.
I received 2 voicemails from this number, claiming to be from the fraud department of Barclay's Mastercard, which is a card that I don't have. I tried to call back just to get the voicemails to stop, in the event it was an error, but there was no option to speak to an agent, only a prompt to enter your account number. Based on these two facts I am guessing that this is likely a scam.
THIS IS A SCAM. They asked for my credit card number and PIN. Initially, it sounded like a legitimate recording and they were able to guess what credit card I have. I immediately called my bank, and they had no record of calling me. So, this is a scam. Don't give them any info.
