If I had inherited a dead beats phone number and was receiving unwanted/misdirected collection calls because of it - I would immediately request a new phone number from my service provider (definitely wouldn't deal with it for years, or even months). Kind of a no-***iner fix on that one.
I have had a few calls from these a**holes...as early as 7 in the morning of a freakin Sa****ay. I looked them up and apparantely they have been sued a numerous amount of times for unfair practices from the Attorney Genereal in the state of Illinois. Send a Fair Debt collection to them, once you know that have received (get delivery confirmation or certify it through the mail for a signature), they can not call you. Even people who don't pay their bills have rights too. This is considered harrassment.

person keeps calling my cell phone causing an argument between my NEW wife and I, please block!
Leading Edge Recovery Solutions is a debt collection company operating out of Chicago, Illinois.http://www.callferret.com/leading-edge-recovery-solutions.html
Automated call from "Paul Black". I'm thinking this might be a collection agency looking for someone that used to live in our building in the other apartment but they don't leave a message with additional information. I believe that I might be able to "press 1" and stay on hold for a while but I'm not sure if they are suppose to use automated calls to contact in this state.
I received the same response when I first called and didn't provide any information. The second time I told them I don't know who they are or why they keep calling me. Then they told me they were looking for someone who rhymes with my name!
I called them twice. Its a collection agency. The second time I finally got them to answer and they were looking for someone whos name rhymed with mine.
Said His Name Was Paul Blank. Caller ID Comes Up As Unavailable, So I Don't Answer It. He Leaves A Message To Call Him Back At 1-877-865-9750.
I received phone call from them (8778659750) and they asked me to provide my date of Birth to confirm who I am. I got su****ious right away and told them that I need to know why they are calling me. They said they are not going to tell me anything unless I verify my date of Birth, etc. I said to them to have a nice life. Now, they called me from "Unknown number;" and threaten me, that if I don't verify my date of birth that I "will suffer from consequences", and I said - "are you threatening me?" , she (female), told me "yes" and "we will keep calling you", etc.

I have these idiots calling and I told them to put whatever they think they have in writing. I also did some checking Leading Edge Recovery, which is who they are, has been sued by Illinois for unfair practice. I'm collecting more info on them now. They apparently stole money from people out of their bank accounts without authorization.
I've been getting calls periodically from this number but because it hasn't been identified and it's a toll free number, I haven't picked up. This morning, a message was left from "Paul Blank" asking for a return call "immediately" and all through the message "he" kept saying to press 1 at any time to speak to a live person, but I was sure it was not anything I had any interest in so why would I? I decided to check here on the number because there's always someone else who has experience. I've had this number since December 1996 and it belonged to a real deadbeat before me--she was constantly being called by creditors and even the IRS and state tax bureaus in the first two years I had it--Verizon even gave me the new number of the old owner so I could pass it along to the creditors so they'd stop calling me. (She is a local business owner.) Now 14 years later, she still gives out this number when she knows she's going to duck out on her creditors. Oh well, at some point they'll figure it out.

they are violating the debt collection practice act, you should file a law suit a***nst them, even if you were the debtor, collection agency isn't suppose to tell you to call back immediately.
recording said his name like Paul Blank
I have already advised them the person they are looking for isn't at this number. But they keep calling my cell phone.
they keep calling me! MAKE IT STOP! some guy named Paul Black
this person calls EVERY Day!!! All hours of day. Sundays & Holidays also
Left a message saying his name was Paul Blank...
I get calls from this number daily and refuse to answer since I have no idea why they are call me. They do no leave a message. Do not call me a***n.
This person Paul Blank keeeps calling and leaves this number to call back.
Multipla calls. Caller ID blocked. Message says this is Paul Black. Please return call to 1-877-865-9750.
Irritating, leaves no message. Multiple calls weekly for several weeks.
Calls to my home number looking for my son, calls twice a day for the past week. Will not leave a company name, only Mr. Wilson or other people call, one sounds like he is from a foreign company.
Pre recorded message. No details other than to call Paul Black. Just s****ed calling out of the blue, calls daily. Very annoying.
Unknown number on my phone so I didn't answer. They left a very rude message on my voicemail -demanding- a call back from me. I have no clue who they are but I think they might get a better response from callers if they were polite.
We received several computer generated calls from this collection agency for a person I don't even know. We have had our phone number for 15+ years. What annoys me most is that I have to do all the work to get them to stop calling me when they have bad information.
Left prerecorded message: This is Paul Black. Call me back at 877-865-9750. Has called me every other day for the last week. I am very annoyed and slightly disturbed.
This number is from a collection agency. They left a message saying they needed to speak to me immediately but when I called back I was stuck on hold for almost an hour.
