Leave a CommentOur law firm too received an invoice from IT Tech Products, P.O. Box 12017, Costa Mesa, CA, 877-910-2009, for 2 toner cartridges for a ma****e that we don't even have close to $1,000.00. They called our office saying they are confirming an order we placed and when asked for what they ***g up, and then couple of day later we receive an invoice from them.
Our law firm too received an invoice from IT Tech Products, P.O. Box 12017, Costa Mesa, CA, 877-910-2009, for 2 toner cartridges for a ma****e that hasn't been operational in months. They had my name as the contact person and I'm a paralegal who has never done ordering. I contacted the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as suggested by another person here. They can't really help, but at least they have information.
I got an invoice for copier toner for which I had not ordered, nor do I even own the type of copier. Plus the invoice amount was way over the real price of this toner. After I complained by leaving a message on the voicemail number, I was faxed the same invoice with the word "cancelled" stamped on it. It is a scam. I informed the fake company that I was reporting it to the authorities, which prompted the "cancellation."
I just got an invoice for 4 toners that we never ordered or received. Same address as listed here and same phone #. I only order my toners through Ikon. What a big SCAM!!! Our bill say 1,690.00.
Got dead air.
This happened to my company too. The only way to stop them is to report each incident to the FTC so that they can spot the pattern of fraud and stop it. I just reported my incident over the phone at (877) FTC-HELP, and it only took 2 minutes of my time. They suggested that I also report it to my state Consumer Protection Agency at (800) 952-5225 (California).
The name of the company is IT TECH PRODUCTS in Costa Mesa, CA
Our firm received a bill for 2 toner cartridges for the copier model that we do not even have. Our receptionist's name was listed on their invoice as the "contact" person for our firm. When I called 877-910-2009, the recording said that I reached their customer service, but no one was available to talk to me and that I need to leave the invoice number and my phone number for someone to return my call. Our receptionist, obviously, never ordered these toners. It's all a scam!!!
This company tried to SCAM us too. They send bills to companies for products (toner) you never ordered. Our bill was for almost $1,000.00 --- beware !!!!!
