I've been getting the same call from Mr. Shapiro with PRS for weeks... He never says why he's calling. Obviously I have no debt considering I'm a minor. Irritating, to say the least.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING THIS SAME CALL FROM A MR GREENBERG AT PRS, HE SOUNDS VERY SERIOUS, AS IF I AM IN TROUBLE, HIS CALLS ARE AROUND 9:30 AM. THIS SHOULD BE STPPED. HE CALLS MY CELL AND IT IS REGISTERED IN THE "DO NOT CALL LIST"

I also get calls from PRS. I have never had debt. I'm just hoping that not resonding will get rid of them eventually. I don't have caller ID, so I don't know who the other 3-10 daily **** up calls are from. I screen by who speaks on my answering ma****e, and my friends know my system.

if you people just pay your bills you wouldnt be having these annoying phones..

I too have been getting the calls from PRS and Mr. Greenberg.  I have ignored them.  In all likelihood you may have credit card debts that were sold to PRS for cents on the buck, so from a legal perspective they probably have the right to call, unless they are so reckless that they may be calling you just because your name - or phone number - is erroneously in their system (which seems to be the case for some). In any case you can stop the calls entirely by sending them a "cease and desist" letter under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (lots of examples available on the internet) to their N.J. address (see one of the above posts).  S***bags though they no doubt are, they will most likely stop calling after receiving the C&D letter (make you you send it certified) because the feds impose a stiff fine for violators.

These guy Greenburg keeps on Harrassing me without giving a reason for his calling him.How do I stop him ?How can I report him ?

I'll tell you right now who this c**k ****er is and where he lives.  Dale S. Brubaker and Dennis R. Brubaker both own Professional Recovery Services.  I suppose they are either brothers or ***her son.  In any event, these c**k ****ers call me relentlessly and then when you call them back, Mr. F***ing Louis Weinberg is always on the phone, or Mr. Fleming.  F*** that.  This a**hole thinks he can hide from us.  I am good, I am dam good at finding who owns what and who is who.  Dale S. Brubaker lives at 487 Archie Summers Rd in Lake Placid FL 33852.  His number is unpublished but there is another Dale Brubaker that has an undisclosed Lake Placid address but his HOME PHONE NUMBER IS:  863-465-3152.  They have a Lake Placid mailing address for the supposed "PRS" business of PO BOX 52, Lake Placid FL 33862.  They have a physical street address for their PRS business and that is 2501 Upson Ave., Lorida FL 33857.  I suggest everyone call these mother f***ers or pay them some personal visits as they are a drain on this society.  F*** THEM

My credit card company sold my debt to this company PRS ie Mr Shapiro. The debt is real so I have been paying them as able on a monthly basis, but this company still calls  2 to 3 times a day--this includes Sundays, early AM hours and late PM hours. They rarely leave messages.Here is the best/worst part. BEFORE my debt was sold to PRS the credit card company that I did owe the money to--actually refused to accept my offered payment of $500 saying "Dont bother sending it we are selling you debt and you will be notified." The computer message now says,"Thank you for calling the operator etc" I am planning to all our Attorney General in NY

I have also received these calls about five to ten a day it is a constant harra*****t.  I called back and spoke to a representative who was looking for some one else.  I have also called and advised these people if the harra*****t does not stop I will contact the Attorney Generals Office.

Mr Greenburg has called me about 40 time over the last month... finally found out where he's from, Professional Recovery Services in NJ.. website:http://www.prsinc.net/index.htmlI'll be leaving daily mesaages for greenburg till he cuts the ****... plus I got a call at work from PRS from a nasty woman... told her to send me full info about whatever they think I owe them,,, was last week, and no mail... s***bags...

I just got this same call.  I love caller ID.

I have been getting this call every day also. Usually around 11 AM CST. Asks to call Mr Greenburg or Mrs Schapiro at the 877-929-1052 number. There has to be a way to stop this kind of behavior and illegal activity.

I have only had my home phone number for about 3 days and I just got a strange message on my answering ma****e.  A "Mr. Greenberg" with PRS called and asked me to call him back at 877-929-1052.  It seemed odd, so I looked the number up on the internet and was amazed at all the posts about this type of call.  I'm puting my 2 cents in right away in case this continues to happen.  I will not call back and I can only hope that this doesn't continue like it seems to have for many others...

They call several times a day on my cell phone, Ms. Silver, etc.  The say it is urgent. My usual behavior is if I don't know the number I won't answer, and it will remain that way.  I will call the phone company Monday to see if I can block the number.

A woman called saying she had to make an important decision regarding me and that I needed to call her back at 1-877-929-1052.  Her tone of voice made the matter sound very serious.  I reported this call to Comcast and they directed me to report it here.  Comcast told me it was a scam and that I would have been charged a lot of money per minute to call back the number.  This man should be in prison.
