Called on Sunday afternoon.

When I answer, the phone just clicks and then it seems w***ver was on the other line ****s up. I used *69 to get the number and when I called back there was a recording of an Indian woman telling me that all representatives were busy and to please hold. After about 15 seconds of music the phone clicks and I get disconnected.

I answer*****o, no one on the other end and they **** up after 3-5 seconds. One day I answered, there was that few second delay so I new it was a telemarketer, and the person asked if I would like a newspaper subscription in my local area. It just so happened that I was going to call the local newspaper office where I live and subscribe to it. After I subscribed through the telemarketer, I called the local newspaper's office to make sure it was legit. They said it was a company they hired to sell their newspaper. Well, ever since then, I s****ed to receive these same type's of phone calls from (877,866,888,702 and others), and they would **** up. They were from different phone numbers. I researched one number and the call was from Verizon. I called Verizon and they told me that it was one of their "test" telemarketing companies. Many calls came from Reno, Nevada. I think the area code was 702, but not for sure it was months ago, (Unbelievable...As I am typing this, my phone rings, the # is

My 14 year old daughter is getting calls from 877-944-9744 every day on her cell phone. I reported it each day to the Do Not Call Registry.I called the number back, silence. She answered her phone to tell them to leave her alone, silence.I hope they disconnect them soon.

We get calls at all hours of the day. We are deaf and how can we respond! Nuisance and irritating! Who keeps calling us. What good is the National Do Not Call List? The Do Not Call List is a federal farce! The federal government is probably selling our number to telemarketers from the Do Not Call register!

Never in your life sign up for the Star Tribune.  I've been called for over a year now from all different numbers, trying to get me to sign back up.  It's all these third-party companies they have calling you.  The National Do Not Call List doesn't work on them I guess...I hope they fail soon so they cannot afford to solicit me!

Received calls daily for weeks from this number as early as 8:57am and well into the evening.  When I finally picked up, a man repsonded saying he was from The Times and he added "a local paper," which seemed unusual, as "The Times" is a very well known local paper.  He seemed completely unaware of my previous subscription information, but he was cordial when I told him I was not interested.
