I tried an advise from another blog comment and called 866-246-7196 and gave the caller's and receiving phone numbers. They verified 878-201-0297 on their list that is included in their do not call request service. Within their 1-2 business days processing time the calls did stop.

FYI - this is the same commentor "Lee from Alabama" in the previous 2 comments below. I found other references 2 this number & it seems it *is* a spammer sales service number selling Security Systems - so perhaps its not a collection agency...

Please state ur location if u are contaced by this number. That will tell us if its a typical spammer or if they leave u a messsge - please share the info so we all will know what it is. Personally I don't know. They left no message. I'm located in Alabama & I don't know anyone in that area code. So I would****ume its either a spammer or a collection agency as I've lost my job & haven't been able to find another replacing my previous income level; so we've fallen behind on a few bills and have been contacted by collection agencies.
