Looks like this is billed by USBI, which is part of bsgclearing.com aka BSG - Billing Services Group, & USBI phone bill customer service is 800-460-0566.

A 1800 number calls every 2 hours all through the night, they always **** up, when I try to call them back I am redirected to this number. Claims it will charge $1.99 per minute. I refuse to call but this is getting ridiculous. I'm tired of being called all through the night...

A charge of $1.99, with an additional service charge of .21, appeared on our 9/25/10 Verizon office telephone for a call to this number. The bill from Verizon said that the charge was being billed on behalf of MCI. No one made such a call in our office, so I called Verizon. The Verizon representative credited our bill for $2.20 without an argument, but was not able (or willing) to identify the party whose number this is.

I found this charge on my bill as well. I called Verizon and they told me it was a Directory****istance call (that is how it was listed on the bill). But no directory****istance call was made and no one here called that number. Maybe it was picked up by the answering ma****e like Concerned101 suggested. Verizon did credit me for the amount and blocked future 900 calls.The thing that made me su****ious is that on the bill, MCI has a contact number written like this:1-718-1-8-0-42. Needless to say, that call "cannot be completed as dialed". But shame on Verizon, on that portion of the bill they do note that "this portion of the bill is provided as a service to MCI, A VERIZON COMPANY"!

Charged on phonebill, no one placed the call to this number in the household. Contacted Verizon phone company, they told me they couldn't access info because it is a MCI account. Credit my bill.

I was trying to call the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations (a government office) from my home phone.  After seemingly endless busy signals it s****ed to ring only to tell me the number had been c****ed to 900-446-2900 and that it costs $1.99.  Needless to say, I did not call the number.  Still getting a busy signal on the original number.

Was billed for several $$ for calls to this no. Googled..Tried to find WHO this was in the "Reverse tel directory. Response:NO INFO ON THIS NO"!!!! Had my local phone co. BLOCK ALL CALLS FROM MCI and got credit on my local bill.Conserned about a statement on the MCI bill:"The service provider that billed for these services may employ other agencies to collect this amount EVEN IF your local co. gave you credit"Googled/got MCI contact no.and will have it out with them! This is a fraudulent charge.....great way for the crocks to get lots of $$$ from unsuspecting consumers who do not ****yze their tel.statements!

A call was place on 6/04/10 in which i or anyone in the house made. it cost me 2bucks and c****e. i did a number search in internet and found to be a scam!!!!!!

Called Verizon 1-800-837-4966 last month to inquire about merger with Frontier and got recording saying number was c****ed to 1-900-446-2900. Called 900 number and was redirected to call 877-462-8188. ***!! Crock of s**** and scam/slam!! Called Verizon to file a complaint and had charge reversed. All 900/700/and 976 numbers are now blocked.

Same thing, this appeared on my phone bill, I called Verizon, they told me I had to call MCI, I called MCI, they told me it was Champion Communications and their number is 561-272-5667. MEANWHILE - you do NOT have to pay that portion of your phone bill and your services will not be shut off. It says it right on the verizon bill under the charges. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

Every single day our office receives a phone call from the Local Yellow Pages requesting we update our information. After doing so numerous times they continue to call every single day asking for the same information. When I asked for their telephone number they gave me 800-424-9321 which of course was a recording telling me to call the 900 number I posted. If anyone can help me find out how to stop them from calling I would love to know how.

I got a call to call this number back: 1 800 446 2900. I called it and then was redirectted to call 1 900 446 2900. Never did find out who it was. Checked here and saw it was a scam!

Our Verizon billed us for this number and we had never even called it. And so i guess its a scam even if the answering ma****e picks it up. Do not pick up the fone for this number and if it goes to answering ma****e then cancell it.

This is the number they give you when you try to call Card Holders Services. Those calls you get all day long offering to lower your interest rate on your credit card.

Call to AIG insurance 800-345-7764 (number i was dircted to call by claim handler's voicemail!) told me to call this number.

I was calling for Sear's Protection information and the 800 number I called, referred me to this 900 number. I did not fall for it, but am very concerned!

I called 1(800)621-5485 for technical support and was redirected to call 900-446-2900. I thought they charge for technical support, so I called the 900. I could not understand their message, I ***g up and redialed 1(800)621-5485, this time I got the right party. Then I think the 900 is the scam. I called Verizon customer service, and was informed the 900-446-2900 is a big scam now. DO NOT CALL. Thanks Verizon

Received a call from 800-427-9428.  The caller ID display name was "UNAVAILABLE".  Caller left a message stating they were from Capital One fraud department and asked that I call 800-427-7820.  An automated message answers that number stating that the number that needs to be called is 900-446-2900.  I did not call the 900 number.  I called the Captial One customer service number on the back of my card and they stated there was no strange activity to report. Seems like a scam!
