I received a phone call from this number this person knew my full name and ask me to verify my name i ask what do you want he ask me to donate to the state troopers fund.I told him i could not afford to donate any money due to money issues.He continue to ask and i fianlly said i cant afford it he said not even 20.00 dollars.I did not know our state troopers were so broke and i really dont appreciate them calling my house and knowing my name and if its a state troopers fund it should not come up unknown

Meant to add that it shows up on my landline caller ID as coming from Grand Junction, TN.  (I live in TN).

I get calls daily from this number.  This time it's been going on for a couple of weeks or more.  I haven't answered the phone.  I recall once before when they went through a phase of calling me daily that it was the TN Troopers so****ing-or-other, I think.

They called today and have called before.  When I do a telephone reverse lookup it showsno name or address, but says that it is a  Land Line in Grand Junction TN (Hardeman Co) When  Ianswer they don't say anything and I won't call  it back because I have heard of some kind of scam you could be subjuected to in using  your phone to call  overseas calls or other things.

WHEN I CALLED BACK I GET THE 48 HOUR MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WHOMEVER CALLS ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND EVEN AFTER 10PM AND BEFORE 9AM!!!!!  THIS HAS REALLY BEEN HARASSING AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SO****ING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This needs to be stopped!!!  They call all hours of the pm and am even after10pm and before 9am!!!!! They **** up when you answer or give you no info if the person they ask for aren't home!!!!!   Looks like someone could stop this person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!a9w

They called a***n today and were polite when I ask them to remove our number from their calling list.

Called, no one there when I answered the phone.  And I'm on the "no-call" registry, which I re-newed about two weeks ago.

They have called numerous times asking for the business owner wanting donations for State trooper fund.  The guy ****s up everytime I ask questions.

I received a call today from 9018784034. This was the first call, but I found it odd that when I called it back, I got a message telling me to try my call a***n in 48 hrs because of some kind of technical problems. I was just trying to see who it was.

I had a missed call from this number today and when I called I got the same message a few of you got about so****ing wrong with the line and being fixed in 48 hours. I'm glad I decided to look the number up.

Yeah, like a few of you just said similar incident. i answered the phone and said "hello" and the guy said"*****o Tony (which is my name) I am with the tennessee troopers, are you staying out of trouble? I said " who is this? " and he ***g up. I called back and it said technical difficulties call back in 48 hrs. Now I am ****ed because this is a ***nd new number and I happen to know for a fact that only a couple very close friends have received this number. So how did the scammer get my name ******. I am ****ed this is not right!

Just got a call for my husband from this number. I told him he wasn't here and ask who was calling and they told me it was a courtesy call. My nuber has only been activated for like 1 week and is my work number for a stay at home call center. I tried to tell him this number was an office number but he ***g up on me. I hope they call me back. I will put my son on the phone and he can say he is his dad and see what they say.

just got the exact same thing as darcy...happened like 3-4 times now on my phone and my wife's.

i just received a call from this number today.  I was in bed and didn't make it to the phone in time, but when I tried to call the number back, I got a message that said so****ing about experiencing technical difficulties and to try back in 48 hours.  After reading some of these other posts, the TN State Trooper thing sounds familiar and I want to say that I've received calls from this number before.

Since having the phone service activated, I have received calls from this number at least once a day.  I typically do not answer calls with unfamiliar numbers and instead do a search for it.  I remember reading about a scam where the caller identifies himself as a officer of some sort and claims to be conducting a fraud investigation where they need to verify the number of your credit card.  Most people are scared and immediately furnish the information thinking they are the guilty party and wishing to clear their name.  This sounds quite similar having used the state police as an iden***y.  Thats my opinion after all.

The caller said he was representing TN Trooper Members of the TN State Troopers.  He wanted me to commit to a certain donation to help ID missing children or so****ing like that.  I told me if he'd send the literature, I'd consier giving, and he complained about postage, but I said I'd send him a check once I saw the paperwork. Then the supervisor came on to confirm this commitment and asked for my CC#.  I said that I would not do that. I'd send a check once I saw the paperwork.  He asked me my address (almost as an afterthought) twice.  Then ***g up.  Phone call was from Lagrange, TN, but no caller ID showed.  I think it's bogus.

called me twice today   i called it back it says tennessee state troopers you would think they wouldn't **** up when you say*****o.

They have called my number every day except Sa****ay for over a week. They do not leave a message.
