Had the same call. "Bell Aliant". Worker called me "lovely lady", which was enough to make me **** up regardless of whether it was scam or not. I've probably ignored the number about 6 times since.

Also received a call claiming to be Bell Aliant.  I said I was at work and could not talk on my cell phone.  He asked me to call back when I could.  I called back to tell them not to call me a***n and the message said the number was not in service.

I have been pretty much harassed by this number too..They say they are calling from Bell Aliant.. they have a free cell phone for me. They called tonight but about a month ago they called.. I answered their questions for a bit then got annoyed so I ***g up and they called 13 times that night and they even tried blocking their number to see if I would answer. Calling Bell aliant now.

Female said she was from bell aliant and my number qualified for a free smart phone, gave me three choices, I said I wasn't interested and then it was just dead air, so I ***g up... Tried to call the number back and it just days disconnected.

I received a call on Sa****ay, 27 November saying that I had been pre-selected for a free cell phone.  All I had to do was pay for the 3 year rental agreement.  I s****ed saying "I don't need a cell phone." over and over like a mantra.  After saying this about 10 times, she gave up on me and s****ed asking me if there was anyone else in the house who wanted a free cell phone.  When I said "NO", she said "Okay, have a good day."  I could tell she was not impressed with my tactics.  The woman had a very thick South Asian accent.  They did not say who they were.  I smelled a scam right from the get-go.  The local number does slip under the radar.  I know better than to answer toll-free numbers on the weekends.

I received a call from 905-310-2355 saying it was Bell Ca***a and offered me a free cell phone if I agreed to a three-year contract.  I gave them my name, address, date of birth, e-mail address and work tel number.  This is so****ing I normally do not do!The phone was to be delivered in a few days.  I then received a call from 406-8325 (a gentleman) confirming my personal information and that he would call me back in 30 minutes.  After the time passed, I called the number to find it out of service.  The message to the 905-310-2355 number is that it is not available from my area.I now believe I'm the possible subject of Identify Theft.Others beware!!

I get up to 5 calls a day from this number on my work phone..... It leaves a message which is just a single beep and call ends... it is really getting to me!!

My son, who lives in NFLD, but still has his NS cell #, just asked me to check this phone #. He has had two or three calls and has called it back only to be told it is not a valid phone #

Yes, Georges is correct, that number is being used by Skype

Ya know, I'm pretty sure it's a skype "outlet" number...So you'll never know who is really going to be there. Family called from skype on this... and so did the guy who burped while he was trying to do a survey with Bert and Ernie.

A client of mine has frequently called me from her home located about 1000 km from my own home/office.  When she calls, my own phone's Caller ID screen gives the calling number as 1-902-406-8325, which is absolutely NOT any of her phone numbers and is instead a number of my local phone area.  When I called that (902) number to investigate, a message replied that that number was not in service.  I reported the matter to my client, who believes this confusion is caused by the fact that she uses the SKYPE system for her long-distance calls (this system is more economical), and it seems SKYPE is reusing local "dead" numbers as callers' numbers for the Caller ID screens of the phones of the local persons who get long-distance Skype calls.  I know almost nothing on Skype except that it allows calls to be made frm the caller's computer.  I guess the bizarre events reported by other people called from that number, are due to improper use of the Skype system or of the caller's computer.

Got a call from 902 406 8325 they said that you won a trip the ******* the other end. toll her they had the wrong number and ***g up the phone.

I got a call from this number and to my surprise it was my mother from the middle east. I asked her she called and she was just calling from home direct without even using a calling card.

Caller said her name was Marisa, caller-id came up as 902-406-8325 but when you call this number it is not in service.I have never given out the phone number she called, how did they get the number and my name?

I just received a call from this number. Caller identified herself as an information gatherer for radio broadcasters...Wanted names of all in household over the age of 12, along with mailing address & ages...???I gave the info - hope it doesn't come back to haunt me!!!!
