WARNING!!!! THE PEOPLE CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER ARE RUNNING A SCAM!! This is how it works: They call you offering an English Language Course. Sounds like a good deal. You buy it, then later receive a call from someone claiming to be a lawyer (Camila Schneider was the name we were given) and that there is a national lawsuit involving everyone who has purchased this course. BUT...if you simply pay $200 to the caller, you will not be required to travel to Washington D.C. to appear before the judge.This fraudulent scheme preys on innocent, mostly undo***ented victims who likely don't speak English well and are trying to stay out of the public eye. The caller feeds on the people who don't understand the legal system and who might believe that they are in trouble.NOTE:1. YOU WILL NEVER BE REQUIRED TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR A LAWSUIT UNLESS SOMEONE DELIVERS A SUBPOENA TO YOU PERSONALLY. A PHONE CALL DOES NOT MEET THE LEGAL REQUIREMENT.2. NO ONE IN THE LEGAL PROFESSION WOULD LET YOU PAY THEM OFF TO AVOID GOING TO COURT, ESPECIALLY $200. THE SCAMMERS USE THIS AMOUNT BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE CAN COME UP WITH THE MONEY IF THEY THINK IT WILL KEEP THEM FROM GOING TO COURT. They will probably take you off of their telemarketing list. And really tell someone. Actually report them and spread the word to your friends and family members. It's one less victim to cheat.
