Got a call today from a number that was just 1109 at 0950AM. I didn't answer. I'm tired of answering and there is no one on other end of the line or they just **** up.

We keep getting calls that only show up on our caller ID as 1109 I wonder if it is the same thing.  BUT this has been going on for months and months and we use to answer it and no one ever said anything so now we never answer it.  We have no idea who it is.  BUT it is Annoying!

They keep calling for my sister for whom I am durable power of attorney.  They won't tell me who they are or what they want unless I fax them a copy of my DPOA.  I'm not sure I want to release that to them without knowing why they want it.  And, yes, they are on the edge of being rude.

***! This is the company FROM*****! A young guy named Max or Matt called me asking for someone who wasn't even in my house hold. I answered it to tell them YET A***N that they have the wrong number and to please stop calling they wake my 5 month old baby up all the time and they call more than once a day. The guy asked for Fabien and I said I don't know who he is please take my number off your list because I tell you people all the time you have the wrong number. He VERY RUDLY replied "my name is not you people its max" and he ***g up on me.So I called back to make sure they took my number off and give a complaint abou this rude behavior and they transferred me to a supervisor named ***ndi. She was horrible. SHe didn't let me get a word in. Then when she was done running her mouth she asked if there was anything else she could do for me and I told her yes let me finish my sentence and stop being rude. The whole time I tried to talk she did not listen to a word I said and just kept interrupting me saying "ma'am" over and over a***n. So I finally screamed at her and ***g up. I just think its hilarious how these ****** people making 10.00 an hour at the most? Think they can call someones house over and over when you tell them EVERYTIME they have the wrong number and then you ask to make a complaint and they are like better than you and make you feel like a crazy maniac. I HATE TELEMARKETERS AND DEBT COLLECTORS! Especially when its not even my debt!

Two simple words - "cease and decist" - in theory, should prevent a debt collector from hassling you, and then tell them to mail you any correspondence they may have. I say "in theory" because many collection companies break FDCPA laws anyway, and gamble on an uneducated public. If calls persist, file a complaint with the FTC at www.ftc.gov. But in reality, if you know you owe them money, don't hide. Just pay the minimum due and the phone calls will stop. Learn about your rights under FDCPA by googling it for educational resources.

Below is what I emailed to THEM.  ;-)  I have received up to six calls per day and have no idea why - I went to their site, input my home address, requested they MAIL to me a summary of what they think I owe, and to whom, and requested they stop calling my work number, and then sent another request to re-state my cease and desist deman.  I had to "*****" the account number and creditor fields, I input "123456" and "absolutely no idea" in those fields and those responses were accepted.  We'll see if they EVER actually MAIL me anything.http://www.westassetmanagement.com/contactus/contactccs.asp"Using this same text box at approximate  2:30 p.m. I emailed a cease and desist on the phone calls to ***-***-****, on January 24, 2008, and am re-stating this request.  My name is Y*&*&  X#*^% (formerly *&^$%).  Stop calling my office or I will report you.  You have 72 hours to comply with this Cease and Desist request or I will report this continued harrassment to the proper authorities.  Mail to my home address a summary of whatever debt you've repeatedly called about and I will review and contact you at MY earliest convenience.

this is the most annoying company.  i have received 6 calls from them today.  the first 4 were apporximately 1 hour apart.  somehow this needs to be stopped.

They TEXT me to say, please call... haha tricky tricky. These people call me all hours of the day and night. I know their number by heart. I have just never gotten a text message from the before.

Call came in as ***ndi ***ding. I said*****o and no one said anything. Annoying

A wrong number. Put me on hold to wait for their operator. I waited because they had called before and I wanted to see who it was and tell them to take me off their list. They ***g up when they realized I was the wrong person, w/o identifying their company. Very annoying!
