Leave a Commentgot a call very similar to leaslies, the only big difference is they did allow me to pay. i have received my settlement letter and this will be off my credit report. thank god. these banks are getting out of control. i agree with leslie on that.
a message was left on my home phone. i was given a case number and was told that either i or my attorney should call back because this was in regards to a serious matter. immediately i tried thinking of what have i possibly done. in all 34 years of my life i was never even pulled over. i decided to call back myself because i dont have an attorney and i was sure they just had the wrong person. when i did call i spoke with a mr. bronson. at first he wanted to verify some info to make sure he had the correct person. he had my correct birthday last 4 of ssn my previous address and maiden name. i knew i was the person i was looking for so now i wanted answers. what was this about. i was being sued. bank of america people. i had payments with them before and couldnt keep up. now they were taking me to court. appearantly the last known address they had for me was one from before i married my husband and i wasnt receiving the notices. honestly i forgot all about it. new house marriage work. it fell through the *****s. now im going to court for this. how can i stop this from happening. he said the summons should be appearing now that my address has been verified and if i dont show they will get a default judgement a***nst me that will show immediately on my credit report. how do we keep these bank of america ****s from being able to do this. mr. bronson has said that he will keep me posted and try to help me out with the situation. honestly if i knew it could got his far i would of just paid it from the begining. i would of never got the ****** card. and now that im offering to pay they wont even accept the money.
