FRAUD COMMITTED FROM CHEAPESTTHEMES.COM out of Florida! I received a call from 904-352-1238 a couple of weeks ago on my cell; I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number. I noticed today, 2-8-10 an UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE of $4.81 a***nst my bank card account. How did they get my bank information and how did they make a debit a***nst it? This is FRAUD! I have tried to call them back and all I get is a recording telling me no one can help me and to email them at [email protected]. What do I do to get this charge taken off?
I had the same thing on my checking account on 12/14/09. They charge me $4.81. I tried calling the phone number on my bank statement and ALL i got was a answering service which I could not understand the person message. I have never dealt with this company! They sent me a e-mail, but I have not heard back yet! I talk with my bank and cancel my card yes****ay.Here is the name I got from their e-mail reply back from. They ask for my name, zip code and last for digit of my card.Mika Einswoodwww.cheapestthemes.com
Didn't get a call (that I know of), but did discover a "pending debit" charge of $4.81 from cheapestthemes.com. After a bit of investigation, it became clear to me that this so-called "e-business" is nothing more than a bogus website to make debit card information theft appear like a legitimate charge. Furthermore, this is almost certainly not because any of US were careless with our information, but due to a breach of one of the information hubs (remember the Heartland scandal from earlier this year?).If you discover a charge from "cheapestthemes.com", IMMEDIATELY call your bank, and INSIST that they: (a) reverse the charge; (b) cancel your current card and issue one with a new number; and (c) transfer you to their fraud department, so that you can report it. Also be certain to register a complaint with our government's internet crime division: https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx
Got the bank statement today and a charge of $4.81 is on there. What is this place any way?
Just found a similar charge on my account... lost the card.

I received a $4.81 charge on my MC account from cheapestthemes.com on 7-6-09. I called my bank to dispute the charge. They said they will remove the charge and pass this on to their fraud dept.
I just recieved the $4.81 charge from cheapestthemes.com and I never even heard of their website till I saw the charge on my checkcard. Everyone effected needs to go to the BBB and file a complaint.
They have haked into my debit card and put a charge.Looking at the number i can tell you its a Jacksonville Florida account; It is a cell number and who ever is behind is Russian,Ukranien ,,,,Somebody is paying for this number....

I also rcvd a debit from my acct for $2.81. It was still in pending mode so I clld my bank and I filled out a fraud report. just trying to figure out how they rcvd my debit card info. I have TD bank and live in NJ. Wonder how they are selecting their victims.
904-352-1238 IS UNAVAILABLE AND I DID NOT REQUEST ANYTHING FROM THIS NUMBER AND MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED $4.81. I HAVE KEPT TRYING TO CALL WITH NO SUCCESS
Discovered it while it was still pending a***nst my BOA cc account. Waited until it posted, BOA provided the phone number, it is a cell phone number. I was so furious by the intial response of BOA that I paid to research the number, there is no physical/mailing address****ociated with the number. No human at the other end just a recording to contact them through their web address which I did and I didn't get a response. I didn't think I would. BOA has just credited our cc account with the fraudelent $4.81 charge. They said they would just continue to credit our account for any future charges that post to our account. They will not contact the bank of cheapestthemes.com due to the low amount of the charge. So the number of victims wil continue to rise.
I just spoke with my bank after discovering an unauthorized charge of $4.81 to my BOA credit card. I discovered while it was still in a pending status. Since the bank cannot do anything until it posts I monitored it until it posted then I contacted my bank. My bank provided me with cheapestthemes.com phone number which is a cell number. All it is is a recording directing you to their web address. Because of the amount BOA went ahead and refunded the amount. Because of the low amount they will not follow-up with the Bank of cheapestthemes.com. If you are victimized you should file an online complaint (IC3Complaint Referral Form)at https://complaintic3.gov
