Same as the other reports, debt collector scam threatening legal action

We are filing legal papers.... blah bah blah

The caller left the 2nd message about owing $386.00 to whom, never mentioned. Claims to file charges with state/local officials. I knew it was a scam. I blocked the number. and reported it.

Got a message to pay $389 or they would file a claim in my state and county. I called the number back and they would not disclose the name of the company then ***g up on me.

They were "Global Processing Services" If I didn't pay $398 right then within 3 days I would owe over $1400 - said I went to a store front cash loan place and didn't pay - I googled the number because I know I didn't do that, and found this post. Thankful you all do***ented it. I was going to pay!

I owed a debt for cashnow, which I don't, otherwise legal action.

Who Called: Did not identify who they were or what company they were calling from Said that I could avoid a court action to be filed in my local state/county if I paid them $386 and gave me 904-541-8869 to call back. I searched and this number is listed as a scam as well.

Scam number claiming to settle a past due debt for $389 or have legal action taken. I owe no past due debts. I turned it into the attorney general's office as well as the FTC already.

I received the same voice message as everyone else. The phone call never came through as my call list doesn't show this number.

Called didn't use my name or who they were. Just they will be filing charges a***nst me in my county but I could settle for 389.00 for a charge off.

They call from 339-210-4014 leaving a msg wanting to settle and to call back to 904-541-8369 never identifying themselves
