Please note that I just received an FTC Update about the latest Federal Student Loan Payment extension. For those people with Federal Student Loans, there is an extension to May1, 2022. The FTC says that program is already in place and you DO NOT need to hire a company and pay a fee to get that benefit. Please do not let Mark or another scammer convince you that he/she can help you!

It is a mistake to say the scammer’s calls are phone terrorism. That is what they want everyone to think. You see, the only way you can possibly think they commit phone terrorism is for you to bother even answering them in the first place! DO NOT ANSWER!

When these Student Loan Forgiveness Scammers leave a Voicemail with the phrase, “Your Student Loans”, they may or may not know if you have student loans or not. What they are hoping is that if you don’t have student loans, you might think someone has opened account in your name and that you will be scared into calling to voice a dispute. I you make that mistake they will pretend that they need to verify your identity. Any information you give will be stolen. DO NOT CALL! My first step is always to do a Reverse Lookup of their numbers. I do a Reverse Lookup of absolutely every number that I don’t immediately recognize as safe. I also use RoboKiller.

I have Asked to be put on your do not call list and they’re still calling me it’s driving me crazy I get like 5+maybe 10 calls a day I don’t even have student loans or any loans.

I got the exact same call as all the other comments are texting about. Says you don’t have to pay back student loans and then, say to return the call for payment options. Don’t they know we are smart enough to catch the scam? After all, we did go to college! LOL Sorry, I just couldn’t resist!!!

They are scamming for you to pay then to do what your studentloan servicer does for free....please don't fall for it.

I am baffled that the US spends billions on defense and we have no ability to prevent these and countless other scammers that call millions of Americans each day... such a shame... it literally is harassment and criminal... it is also phone terrorism when other countries and people in the US try to scam people out of their hard-earned money. So disheartening.

Talking about not having to repay my student loans but CARES act is ending soon and there’s new programs for me. Leaves an “agent number” but not who he’s with. Call actually came from 928-316-5172 but he left the 904 number in the message

A missed call showed up on my phone from "Restricted", then a voicemail moments later from (928) 316-5172. upon listening to the vm... offering student loan forgiveness, asking about and also some CARES Act spiel.

SCAMMER ALERT!!!!!!!!!! They are claiming to be a reputable financial institution but could not provide me with a business name. They asked for my personal information which I did not provide but they are obviously trying to steal identities with the info they requested

It’s about student loans and that I didn’t have to pay them back and he want me to call so he can talk to me about how to pay them and he sent a correspondence in the mail not sure if I got it. SCAM!!

Claimed they were calling about my student loans and the CARES Act. I have my phone set up to send spam calls straight to voicemail and that's what happened when this person called from a completely different number.

Called from a restricted number, I didn't pick up, they left a voice-mail, my voice-mail listed a different number and message was about student loan forgiveness and the cares act and left yet another number on the message for me to call him back. Clearly scammer!
