*** these *****s...forgive my language call me once every few months at my JOB...harassing me. One caller said there was fruad a***nst me...another who barely spoke english said I had a lawsuit...I work in this field and I know if it was legit I would have received so****ing in the mail. Then the guy gives me a name of a company that I am in default with that I have no idea. I believe I will play along next time and get more information because Patrick &****ociates does not exist from what I find.

Claimed to be David Poindexter, said I was going to be charged with Internet Fraud fo not paying a loan. Claimed that I used a work reference (which I did not, I am disabled) and said he was going to help me. He claimed to work for a law firm named Patrick &****ociates.This IS a collection agency and these tactics are a***nst the law according to the Fair Debt Collections Act. If you can, play along and get the company name and address, then report them.

I too received a call from David Poindexter. Actually several on several numbers. He has left several messages stating to call him back and if i don't he wishes me luck. he then called my work number and left a message with my mothers name to call call him regarding me..What the heck? If someone has who this is or their address, I'd like to give the info to an attorney for harrassment.

A David Poindexter called me from this number and told me he worked for Patrick and****ociates. Said I was going to be arrested for check fraud if I didnt give them a credit card number to pay $300.  When I asked for verification for the date of the check and what bank it was drawn on, David said he couldnt give me that info.  I asked what lawyer he works for, he stated that there are numerous lawyers that work for the "firm" but wouldnt give me any names.  He then ***g up.  I called back and he said that my atty needed to contact him and ***g up, I called back a***n and no one answered the phone.  This guy seems to be calling from various area codes and using different names.  If you know what your rights are, these people cant back you into a corner and use scare tactics to get information from you.
