Theeeeeyyyyyy're back! Man oh man. Runs in cycles doesn't it. Got pelted by this number a few months ago and now they are back at it. DNC lists don't frigging work. So I try to have as much fun with it as I can. Call display - see the number - pick up the receiver about an inch and just drop it back down.

They call almost everyday. They call twice some days, never any messages. I see from other complaints, it must be CIBC on some world wind tour of how to annoy its customers.

They have called me every night for the past week at 6:30 pm Alberta time...but every time I answer, no matter what ring I answer on, there is always someonebreathing on the phone for a moment, and then they hang up.

Telemarketer asked for my wife, with whom I have a joint account. Told them they could speak to me. She said no. I asked her to put us on THEIR no-call list, as the National list does not prohibit calls from account holders. We shall see if that works. but am doubtful

Leaves no message! being on the do not call list is only good for companies you are not affiliated with. I have a visa with cibc but i do not wish to be called to buy their insurance or anything else! I didn't sign up for it!

905-297-4280 keeps calling me on my cell number, usually several times per day. Does not leave messages if I do not answer, and if I do answer, then they hang up immediately. This is getting very frustrating. If anyone knows how I can stop this number from calling me, please advise!

they've been calling every single day at least once for the past 2 weeks!!! I haven't picked up the phone except for the first time they called and they were from CIBC Visa Card insurance.. very annoying.

I have already entered myself on the do not call database. This number keeps calling me everyday. If i answer nobody talks. Please make it stop!

This number had called me over 10 times in a span of a half and a half. I picked it up once before and it was, as everyone here has posted - CIBC insurance. I declined the offer. The number continued to show up on my phone. I finally picked up this morning and it was someone selling insurance from CIBC again. I let him do his thing - blah blah I'm from CIBC insurance..." And I told him that I have already gotten this call before. He was very apologetic. I told him I would like to stop these calls so please put me on the do not call list. He said it can take up to 30 days for this to activate...? I'm wondering if anyone has called CIBC Visa to complain about this? If so, what happened?

They called me several times (despite our number being on the "do not call" list!). I finally called back, got a voice mail system that allowed me to be on their company no-call list. Would have liked to reach a real person, so I could find out why they weren't upholding the rules of Canada's "do not call" list!!!

I called the number back Got voicemail, but they announced themselves as Canadian Premier Life. You can enter your number to be DO NOT CALL, we will see how well it works.

Called about 6:35 at night from 905-297-4280. I answered it - only static on the line. Took a while for the call to disconnect. I am on the Cdn do not call list. If the person had identified himself/herself, I could complain.

These people call everyday of the week and at least once a day, sometimes more a day. I have an unlisted number that is to block these numbers so how are they accessing my number?

This number calls twice a day, but does not leave any message. This has been going on for a few weeks. It needs to stop.If it is the CIBC, I will change banks. All of my accounts and mortgage are with the CIBC. I am sure the are other banks who will gladly take my business.

I am guessing it is a debt collector. Caller leaves no message, just keeps calling me every day during my work hours and hanging up - calls earlier on a Saturday morning then during the work week. Will not leave a message.

This has been two days in a row that the number +19052974280 keeps calling my cell phone # always at the same time (5:55 pm) and leave no messages in my voice mail it started on July 6 2009. I do not answer since I don't know the number. calls all the time to ask me what my name is eventhough im on the do not call list. CIBC should really look into who they lend their name to.

This number kept showing up on my phone randomly but no message. I called it back and its Canadian Premier Life and legacy Insurance Company. I pressed 1 for english then pressed 1 again and put in my phone # to add myself to the do not call list. The number hasn't called back since but it's only been a few days.

Claimed to be from CIBC,but phoned about some insurance . I told them I was not interested . I thought these types of phone calls were not allowed if you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST . They have phoned on a daily basis ,serveral times a day over the last week
