It isn't just Shaw customers that they are calling. My friend is a telus user but she gets these calls to. If you dial 604-310-2255 (CALL) you will get telus.
I have never picked up one of these calls but I can see from reading the other responses that no one will be at the other end. It is severely annoying and it makes me wonder if it is even worth me calling to try and have my number blocked. It doesn't look like it has gotten anybody anywhere.

God **** Telus I have the same issue. Its soo annoying when you get called so often. when i call to have it removed the anwsering service picks up then they **** up.
I was getting calls from this number 2 & 3 times a day on my cell phone. Very annoying! This is a Telus Mobility dialer. Call 1-800-567-0000 and they will remove your number from their list.
I get these calls and if it was a real person, why dont they leave a msg. I hate it, has anyone actually answered one of these calls?

I get calls regularly from telus and they are not listening when I ask to be added to their do not call list.
I received three "***ody there" calls in a row and then left it on the hook and no message was left in my voice mail..I received similar multi calls about two and three weeks ago..Now that I know it is Telus trying to annoy shaw users or to punish a past customer for swit****g I will never ever even consider a Telus service in the future. A marketing ploy dreamt up by an imbecile that thinks annoying people is good company policy...It's funny how they have time for this but when I had service problems I was put on hold for 30 minutes or more on their help line.

I have gotten calls from this number everyday for the past 3 weeks. No message. Everytime I try to call it back, the call does not go through. It says "out of the area" I have no idea who this is. It is s****ing to get very concerning.
I'VE HAD SEVERAL OF THESE 'NO ONE ON THE OTHER END' CALLS. IT IS VERYANNOYING.
You can also call 1-800-567-0000 and follow the prompts to have your name removed from Telus' call list. I called Telus after receiving several calls from the number 905-310-2255 and other than blocking, having your name and number removed is all that can be done.
This is a Telus marketing ploy. They call several times a week and have woken me repeatedly. Needless to say I am ****** sick of it. They are very interested in convincing you to switch to Telus for your Internet, Phone, and TV needs, ESPECIALLY if you are a Shaw customer. The calls just keep coming.After swit****g in July 2007 to Shaw within two weeks of the c****ethe calls from 905-310-2255 s****ed coming in two to three times a daycurrently there are as many as six calls per day.The last time I spoke to anyone from Telus I told them H_ _ L would freeze over before I switched back and that as far as I was concerned The Future With Telus was anything but friendly!!!!!!!!!

If everyone focused their effort on laying legal****ault on Telus for harassment Telus would eventually lose control since Telus could not compete with the concerted attack from "helpless" consumers and the people would once a***n become a formidable component in society. Small claims in Ca***a up to $1000, lawyers accept contingency fee cases which are free to clients if there is no award and remember lawyers are lazy and will not take contingency cases unless they are sure you have done your homework and they are****ured of winning so build your case (let the B**t***s **** themselves - log all the calls as evidence)contact your present phone company and complain, ask them to intervene and log those contacts as well, all phone companies are suspect in their dealings and the consumer is always right... do not lay down! fight back no matter how long it takes. I switched from Telus to Primus on January 17, 2008. Since swit****g, I have received ca. 2-4 calls per day from 905-310-2255.... Yes, it's Telus, and they are trying to get my business back. I would like to know if anyone has filed a complaint with the CRTC about this issue. its really annoying when they call... they don't say anything, but telus called us the other night (and i have my cell with telus anyways) asking us to switch to telus.... they are idiots. i hate telus.
We just switched to Shaw after 50 years with Telus (formerly AGT)and they have been trying to get us back using this number as a cover. The last person I talked to was in the Phillipines. Seems they're outsourcing all over the planet. We're very happy with Shaw and their service and rates are better.

I am in Vancouver, BC. Received a call from 905 310 2255 and i called the Telus Security number (provided above) and told them I wanted to be removed from their calling list. The woman on the other end was sympathetic after i yelled a bit and promptly responded she would contact marketing with my complaint.
Yup, it's Telus alright. We just c****ed to Shaw two weeks ago. That's when this number 905-310-2255 kept calling. The calls were bothersome this weekend. I could just block the number, it's easier than calling to complain.

I actually just tried to call this number back today (Jan 30, 2008) and I was greeted with "Welcome to Telus" at which point I had all the information I needed and promptly slammed the phone down. (which really accomplished nothing but sure made me feel better!)
I just had an epiphany. 310-2255 is the Ca***a-Wide Telus sales line. The reason you cannot get back to them by dialing 905-310-2255 is that 310 numbers are not accepted by the local swit****g systems preceded by an area code (I think). So the next time they phone I suggest:(1) Complain to Telus Security at 1-800-567-0000.(2) Phone 310-2255 and give 'em a good flaming. Tell 'em that you would love top help them reconfigure their autodialers.So my original****ertion was correct: Telus is totally crooked. Ripped me and my family off for years.
These people are obviously criminals, as they suggested that there was no way that I could track them down. another site says this is telus calling from another area code to lure you back to their services.
Been repeatedly called by this number and only the following message when called back: "The number you dialed cannot be reached from your area. Please check your number a***n."
