This number showed up on my phone, so I answered it. It sounded like it was coming from a call centre...I was congratulated for winning 10,000 Air Miles, then he launched into a need for my credit card info so he could transfer the miles. I said, no, if I won so****ing he didn't need my financial info, and he ***g up. I'm notifying Phonebusters.

Second time they called in two days

I have missed their calls twice now but I've received similar calls from different phone number. When they ask you to press 1 to accept whatever prize, do it. And a REAL person gets on the line, just tell them to put your phone number on their no-call-list. I've done this to at least 3 "phone numbers" now and since then they have never called back.

called my cell number but when I tried calling it back a french operator came on saying the number could not be called as dialed.

I got an automatic recording: "B/c you're a preferred air miles customer, you've been selected to win 50 000 air miles points. Press 1 to redeem now." ... yeah right! 5 seconds later they ***g up.

I just got a call as well! But there was no voicemail or anything......­...kind of creepy I figured

Also received a call saying press 1- I am an airmiles customer and had been redeeming points but realised too that it must be a scam so ***g up.

Called my home number but didn't leave message. Called number back and told that number could not be connected as dialed.

I got the same call. I was transfered to Mexico where i was asked to spend $300-$400 to reserve a vacation. I asked for my 100,000 air miles and was told the promotion was only 10,000 air miles that was applied to the holiday. I asked for the Ca***ian Company's phone number and they ***g up on me. I wonder when I will get me Air miles, they didn't ask for my acct number... weird...

I got this today too... it said "Dear Air Miles Customer" (right away that was a tip-off that it was a scam - I am not an Air Miles customer) and then it said I won 100,000 air miles and to accept, press 1. So I did nothing. It ***g up on its own after a few seconds.

Got this one yes****ay afternoon. 50,000 air miles points. Sounds nice, except that we don't have an air miles card. And this sounded exactly like a call that I'd gotten about a month ago, saying that I'm a "preferred WestJet customer" who will "receive a special gift." (I'm not a WestJet customer either, preferred or otherwise.)In both cases I ***g up, didn't find this site until this morning when I s****ed resear****g it.

Got the call at 12:40 pm on my cell making the 100,000 air mile claim.  I played along just to see what they would say.  Are you 25?  Yes.  Do you carry a valid credit card number? I laughed and said nice try buddy.  I hope they call a***n, just to see how long I can keep them on thinking that they are actually duping me.

Yep, just got the call. 100,000 airmile points, pressed 1 and idiot boy came on the line asking if I was over 25. I asked him who he was and he ***g up.

My girlfriend and I each got a call within 10 minutes of eachother on our cell phones... She doesn't have airmiles so she ***g up and I didn't bother answering... This site is great!

Number appeared on Caller ID - couldn't trace it with Reverse Lookup on Ca***a 411, so I'm grateful for this site!

Called on my cell phone with Air Miles offer.  I asked how they got my name and they said it was because I was on the list of customers.I told her flat out the list was a fraud since I don't not subscribe to Air Miles and I am on the do not call list in Ca***a AND the US.  I told her I was lodging a complaint with the CRTC and the Better Business Bureau.Never had someone **** up so fast...

Same deal: "You've won 100,000 Air Miles, Press 1"... "Wait for an operator" ... Waited... Someone with an accent asks if I am over 25. etc. When I tell them I will not divulge personal information until they identify themselves, they ***g up.

Just got a call saying I won 100,00 air miles. Asked if I was 25 or older and if I had a valid credit card, they then transferd me to cancun so****ing or other asked my name and we were disconnected. What is this all about?

Just got a call from this number and didn't pick up.  Will complain to the above email address.  Love this site!

Checked number and says it is used by Optel Communications Corp.  Found email address for that might work for Optel... [email protected] sent complaint but not sure if it will help.

I have a missed call from this number, and can't trace it on Ca***a411.ca, I tried calling them back and got a message saying that the number wasn't valid.

I just got a call. It only rang once and I didn't pick up. I'm so glad for this site!

Just got such a call. Apparently from Air miles reward program. Asked me to press 1, then the lady who pick up the phone ask me if I was more than 25 years of age. I told her she should know that (they have that on file, right?!).FRAUD !
